Not to be trolling, but I totally agree with that sentiment. Microsoft does not have enough studios to make a game such as a "smash bros. clone". Master chief, perhaps a gears of war character, ol banjo kazoo, fable character, and a forza car is what comes to mind. The last one was a poor attempt at a joke :)However just because Sony is doing one does not mean MS has to follow suit. Microsoft is doing well enough to survive without one.

However as I am trying to look at both games objectively, inFamous has been the better games based as a franchise and based as individual games. I'm not really surprised by this move from Sony. Last gen they brought out God of War 2 to end it's life cycle so why not do the same for this gen I suppose. I've enjoyed the franchise so I welcome the addition. Some people are complaining they're milking the franchise, but when you look at it objectively there has only been 1 GOW game made for the PS3 this gen. The other which appeared were simply ports from handhelds. Here's hoping to a great game.

I've never played an MMO because when I watch gameplay online it looks a bit tedious with inventory and what not. I'm now getting into PC gaming and I am not really that big of an RPG guy. That L.A. Noire price kinda made me sad, but then I realized it wasn't the complete edition. For the regular edition that's a fantastic price as well as the other prices. I have a PC and console, but I must say between consoles and PC, the price is games are in favor of PC gamers. Consoles have pretty nice exclusives which I enjoy, but nothing beats picking up a less than 2 month old game for a fraction of the original price.
Yeah I picked this up when it was $15 on amazon. I haven't played it as of yet, but it's good to know PC players will be getting the free update.
I don't believe anyone can say for sure because the beta is not out as yet and i guess the only way you may have an idea is to watch videos. It's good you don't need to constantly have a constant Internet connection. The game looks quite interesting though.
I'd have to agree because although next gen consoles will we be an improvement, there is already tech out there at this moment and in the further that will be further advanced than tech of consoles. Unfortunately as consoles come into market, they are already considered old tech. I love playing my PS3 and 360, but playing battlefield 3 on a PC is miles ahead of playing it on consoles.
I too have grown bored. It's difficult to explain when you know you love gaming, yet at the same time when you purchase a game it feels like a chore to play or finish. Last game I finished was uncharted 3. Before that it was arkham city. With work, school and a social life I give myself time to breathe from this hobby because I found myself wearing thin from gaming.
