It's unfortunate that many childhood memories of Hogan are tarnished. The simple fact is that WWE no longer wants to be associated with someone who made racist comments. Look at what happened to Paula Dean, Donald Sterling. She lost a lot too. It's true people are allowed to express their feelings and I don't fault him for that. It however does not mean people have to stand for those ideas expressed. I like Hogan as well, and perhaps his viewpoint has changed since years gone past...
My take on this whole resolution thing is that it matters in terms of visual fidelity. How it may affect gameplay experience is debatable, as it is essentially the same game. Yet let's take it from this angle. If the Xbox one version was 480p, would consumers still say the same thing about it being the same experience?
I believe a lot of people felt this way because he was the crowd favorite and the underdog coming in. IMO it wasn't that close. Mayweather's defense was way better than Pacman's offense. He dodged most of his hits and was able to counter him as well. It think people thought that Pacman's punches were connecting when in reality they were mostly not.

Worst case scenario you just wait until the actual game comes on sale. I tried it myself by the way, but I already have it preloaded on steam. It's just a waiting game. They honored the Saint's Row IV: Gat out of Hell fiasco so maybe we might strike gold twice :)

GTX 680 SLI at 1440p. I use Nvidia DSR at 2160 p so I may run into some hiccups with only 2GB of Vram. CPU is an i7 5960x and 16GB DDR4. The mods for this will definitely make the game even more immersive I hope.
@ Sobotz I think that people should focus on the review and not other games, especially comparing it to something not within the same genre.
Coming from a SLI 680 user my first question is what resolution are you playing at? If it's 1080p then I'm going to suggest no. Give it another year or two and then upgrade. I've used the same FEAR 3 profile and I'm getting 60-80 FPS playing at 1440p. Yeah it sucks that we can't play on ultra with the hd texture pack, but hey that's technology for ya.
Will you be able to sell your graphics cards in hopes of upgrading? If so then that's a different story es...
I understand. That's actually one the reasons I didn't go with AMD because of driver support. I have 2GB GTX 680 SLI and I'm averaging 35-60 fps on high at 1440p. So far the game is pretty good as the combat reminds me of the Arkham games a bit.
You have 4 GPUs (AMD6990) and are only averaging 28 fps? I'm curious as to what resolution are you playing on?

Whoever disagreed obviously has not read of the of the 6GB vram required to play on ultra settings. People unfortunately disagre just to disagree.

I don't know how many 60fps games you've played, but in my experience the difference is very big. I guess to each their own.
