Little bit iffy on this. The idea of a handheld console that can be played on the go or hooked to a TV and played with controllers is great. That is something I have wanted for quite a while, and the closest thing I have to that is my Playstation Vita + Playstation TV.
However, handhelds have always been less powerful than home consoles of the same generation, and cartridges are generally not as good as discs (If Nintendo would have been on board with discs, Nintendo and So...
As much as I want to play Skyrim with mod support and better visuals on a console, I'll wait for it to be at least $30 or less before I buy it.
I wouldn't mind the FFXIII trilogy getting some sort of remastered triple pack that includes all DLC or something. But if it is just a remaster of FFXIII, I am skipping it. XIII was mediocre at best, but the sequels were pretty decent.
I want this!
I also want a remaster of Dark Souls 1
My conspiracy theory is that Kojima is secretly in love with Norman Reedus. Being the main character of both Silent Hills and this? Hmm...
I never managed to spend much time with Skyrim because it came out around the same time as Zelda: Skyward Sword, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Mario 3D Land, and all sorts of other games I wanted to play.
So hopefully I will be able to spend some quality time with it now.
I know people who have no intention of ever getting an Xbox One or 360, so they weren't interested in the first game because of that.
Myself, I do not care about online matchmaking whatsoever. Titanfall interested me until they announced it would not have a single player campaign. That made me lose all interest. With Titanfall 2 having a single player campaign, I am interested again because I do like mechs. However, if the single player campaign ends up being crap that ...
I lost so much of my life to this game. I finally got a completionist cape though and I have no motivation to go for 120 skills. So I don't think I will be able to get myself to play it again.
Still waiting for Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, and Blue Dragon... Literally my only 360 games that aren't already backwards compatible.
It's the same kinda thing as Disgaea 5. I played Disgaea 1-4 and Persona 1-4 on my Vita, and wanted 5 from each series to be on vita but they ended up being PS4 instead. Honestly, as long as remote play works well I am not hugely disappointed, but it still would have been nice.
It seems to be more of a progress trailer. Once enemies are placed in those rooms and we see combat footage, I think it will look a lot better.
I'm tired of hearing people fight over FFXIII all the time. It isn't as bad as people say it is, but it certainly isn't as good as the other FF games.
I couldn't get into FFXII in the past. It just didn't click with me. But with the HD remaster, I will be giving it another chance. Maybe I'll like it this time.
I just want an *actual* Fable game for Xbox One. But that is not going to happen.
I could never really get into FFXII. I didn't care for the characters. I didn't like the gameplay. The story didn't hook me. Many reasons.
But I do want to give it another chance if an HD remake comes out. There have been plenty of games that I didn't like initially until I gave it another chance. So hopefully it gets an HD remake so I can give it another chance with the improvements of the international version.
Honestly the only reason I am still paying for PS+ is for the cloud storage, sales, and ability to play the PS+ games that I got back when PS+ gave games that I liked. Not saying they have been giving bad games per say, just saying that none of them have caught my eye in a long time.
Kill it with fire.
Hopefully the PS4 version releases at a slightly discounted price like $40 or something.
But... The makeout scene...
Several of my friends have recommended Yakuza 5 and Patapon, so those two seem like good additions.
But man, I swear at this point I am just paying for PS+ so I can continue having access to my previous PS+ free games.
