Why would we get a new handheld generation this year when we just got the NEW 3DS last year which is supposed to offer even more powerful games and visuals than the previous 3DS?
Focus on new games for the NEW 3DS before making another handheld generation. It only has 2 games so far.
I'm honestly thinking that Sun and Moon will be a Gen 6.5 type thing. It will be a new region (my guess is Southern Kalos), but like 2nd gen, you will be able to travel back to the main part of Kalos after getting all 8 badges. But unlike 2nd gen which had a story that was a sequel in some areas, and separate in other areas, the story will still center around Zygarde.
So they will be a new generation, but have the story of what would have been a definitive 6th generation ...
Imagine Pokemon with gameplay similar to the Tales of series.
If you compare the maps of Kalos and France, Kalos is pretty much just the northern half of France. But many people in X/Y mention Southern Kalos.
So I am thinking the region will be Southern Kalos.
Out of what you listed, Blue Dragon is the only one that I care about getting BC because I've been meaning to play it.
But the other two are better on PS3 which I have.
Here are the things I want back:
Trainer customization from X/Y
Soaring from ORAS
Pokemon followers from HGSS
Multiple Regions
Holographic cover art
Colored game cartridges
All I need for BC now is Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, and Fable Anniversary. Everything else I'd want is now either already available via backwards compatibility, or got an HD remake for the Xbox One.

I was hoping a Z version would have been fixed all the problems 6th gen had.
Besides, with the anime in Japan being called Pokemon Z, and the names X/Y having absolutely no meaning without Z, Pokemon Z is pretty much required.
I'm wondering if they are waiting until after the next gen to release Z.

Pokken Tournament New Footage
Pokemon 20th anniversary special that just shows Pokemon's history and has absolutely no new reveals or gameplay footage
It is only 5 minutes long, so chances are only one of the things above will happen. More than likely it will be the last thing and we will all leave disappointed.

But rocks have a really good attention span... They can sit in the same spot for an eternity and not think twice.
It would be a better remake if it came out for Vita in America.
Shame... I wont be willing to buy it unless it comes to the Vita.
They've released a Lego Star Wars game for each individual movie. So no, they are not getting ahead of themselves.
But they have also released a compilation game for each trilogy, as well as a game for the complete saga. So buying the individual game isn't worth it.
I'll admit... I am tired of getting games that I already own, or will never play, or have very little value as free games.
However, companies give free games like those out because if they don't, they lose money. If you wanted to make as much money as possible but had to give a $5 game out for free vs a $40 game for free, knowing that people will still buy the one that wasn't given for free, what would you choose?
I was wishing for a New 3DS version. Nintendo pushed the New 3DS as a system with exclusive games and is more powerful, but it only has 2 games that the normal 3ds cant play: Xenoblade and Binding of Isaac.
That and I love zelda on handheld.
If Adventures of Mana comes out physically: Definitely getting
If it comes out for vita digital only: Will probably wait for it to be 50% off
If it only comes out for smartphones: Never getting it
It is easy to develop games for. They just choose not to.
Can we get a different super boss from Final Fantasy than Sephiroth? Not to mention different FF characters? I know they've focused on the Nomura FF games for Kingdom Hearts...
But I want Gilgamesh and Kefka! Those two in Kingdom Hearts would be awesome!
