Great game, probably my favorite main series FF game since 10 other than Crisis Core. Definitely one of my favorite games this year alongside Pokemon Sun/Moon, Dark Souls 3, and Uncharted 4.
MGS5 was good in terms of gameplay but in terms of the things I loved most about the series (Music, Character development, plot, suspense, cutscenes), it was a huge let down. Definitely my least favorite MGS game that is actually related to the overall story of the series.
Uncharted 4 was great. Easily my favorite of the series alongside Uncharted 2. Definitely not disappointing.
Now Uncharted 3... That was disappointing. (For me anyways. I have a few friends who thought it was the best game of the series)
As much as I want improved consoles and would like to upgrade my Xbox One, I just can't justify the upgrade. I use my PC for all multi-platform gaming, and my PS4, XBO, and Wii U are all for the exclusive games. And unfortunately, the only Xbox One exclusives I was interested in coming out in 2017 have since been announced for PC. So, there really is no reason for me to get one.
The big new game coming out is Horizon: Zero Dawn. There are PLENTY of other new games, as shown at PSX (mostly indies), but people aren't paying as much attention to them.
Sony is giving what its customers want, and the majority of their customers WANTED The Last of Us 2, another Uncharted game, Crash Bandicoot remakes, a new Marvel vs Capcom, etc.
To be honest, I haven't touched any PS+ free game in over a year, and I haven't cared for the free games being offered, nor do I play anything online. Same goes for Xbox Live gold. I just wish they offered more games that I personally was interested in.
I'll likely be cancelling both services once my time runs out. =/
Zelda will be a port, yes. But it will be one of those ports that (more than likely) will release alongside the Wii U version and it won't be a matter of rebuying a game.
Me personally, I am interested in the switch because it is a hybrid. Nintendo home consoles have been dwindling and becoming less and less successful in the eyes of dedicated gamers for the last several console generations. They've started receiving less and less third party support. Whereas the ha...
Yes, Skyrim remastered is coming to Switch. But what is shown in this video isn't Skyrim. The textures are different, and they are fighting Havel from Dark Souls. So no, what is shown in this video is not Skyrim remastered.
XD
Flying around in the skell was so satisfying though =D
*Reveals Crash Bandicoot game*
If The Last of Us 2 and Marvel vs Capcom 4 get announced like various rumors are suggesting, that would be amazing.
Also, I want more footage of Final Fantasy VII remake, Kingdom Hearts 3, Nier Automata, and others.
Love how they are playing what seems to be an Elder Scrolls clone that lets you fight against Dark Souls enemies.
I was able to preorder the deluxe edition for $66 so it wasn't really much more expensive than the regular game. I want the movie and steel book.
Great for exp. But makes catching wild pokemon a pain.
Especially since being low on hp seems to increase the chances of it succeeding and they can call for help AFTER they already attacked.
It doesn't really make fighting wild pokemon annoying. But trying to catch them is a pain. I went through an entire team trying to catch a magby after using false swipe on it because it kept summoning help.
I clicked this article just to post that but you already beat me to it. Thanks.
Despite actually being a JRPG, Dark Souls is so much like a Western RPG that people don't consider it a JRPG. But I definitely agree Dark Souls 3 was great. I've beaten it 5 times now... Help me.
They will likely go halfway into 2018 before killing the 3DS. Nintendo has always more or less eased consumers into the new systems rather than completely dropping the old systems as soon as new system comes out.
3DS will likely get one more set of Pokemon games (Likely 4th gen remakes) before it is completely ditched.
Definitely the best game of the 13 trilogy. It doesn't deserve the hate it gets, but it also isn't amazing either.
Just buy a bunch of ethers, elixirs, and high-elixirs and spam the ring's triangle spell when you encounter anything that you can't easily kill with the circle spell, then just recharge mp by using one of the items. Made chapter 13 a real breeze.
