Whether this is a positive or negative thing depends on the gamer. For me, I love it. It makes the money spent last longer. For P5 in particular, it stayed interesting enough that it didn't feel like it took 106 hours to beat the game.
But I know for many gamers out there who don't play RPGs and only play games that take 5-10 hours to beat the game, the length would be a bad thing.
When you have a gaming PC, who cares how good scorpio will be if it doesn't have good exclusives?
I wouldn't mind remakes of Oracle of Seasons/Ages with a visual style similar to that of A Link Between Worlds.
I am so salty... Opened up N4G and the thumbnail for this article made me think Bloodborne 2 was announced.
If Bloodborne 2 gets announced, then Sony will automatically win E3 for me. Even though it is not a competition to be won.
Hopefully this means Bayonetta 2 on PC.
Even more of a waste of plastic.

If Sony supports it for its full lifespan instead of just supporting it for the first two years, it could do really well. That was the biggest issue with the Vita.
Not a fan of either game whatsoever. Why can't Nintendo do a standard direct?
It will have sales during holidays, and it will get special bundles that come with a game and still cost $299. But Nintendo systems typically don't get permanent price cuts until revisions come out. 3DS was obviously an exception.
It was crap in 3 but it was quite fun in 4. I think it will have improved mechanics from 4 but since Egypt is all desert with sea to the north, I think the naval portions will be optional and a bit small like in 3.
I prefer scales along the line of "buy it, wait for a sale, try it, don't touch it, etc." Sure, it doesn't have a "definitive" score, but it allows things like personal preference to affect the review score in a more constructive way.
I personally don't like numeric scales. It can be extremely difficult for a reviewer to consistently distinguish between small increments such as 90 and 91, 9.0 and 9.1, or 4.5 and 4.6. Also it results in a lot ...
Holiday season is one of the best times of the year to release games from a business standpoint. Telling Sony not to release their exclusive games during the holiday season is like telling a 7 year old girl not to run a lemonade stand during the summer.
The holiday season is when many will be going around buying these games as gifts for their friends and family as presents.
Oh damn... Uncharted 4 is 427.01? :O
*Microsoft shows of Scorpio*
Person speaking: Scorpio will be the best way to play your favorite games, and will have some of the best exclusives.
*Proceeds to only show off minecraft and nothing else*
Several reasons.
1. Bugs, crashes, etc
2. Niantic took out various quality of life things
3. The game becomes a boring grind pretty much at level 20.
4. The hype train that existed at the very beginning and resulted in seeing large groups of 20+ people playing is no longer there, so it isn't as social as it used to be.
This game took me over 100 hours to beat and get the true ending and I did not have to go out of my way to grind or anything. I normally get pretty antsy when an rpg takes longer than 50 hours for the main story, but this game was so fun and engaging that it didnt bother me. I kept coming back.
What a drag.
It is also the reason why my math skills are strong. I used quite a bit of algebra when planning out my goals in the game.
It is only better when hacked and turned into Project M. Yes, the visuals and larger roster are great, but the tripping mechanic and overall slowness of it really kills it.
Either way, Smash 4 is best.
