Oh man...this list is gonna get some people riled up.
The sub fee still feels a little pricey to me.
Answer: no. But here's to hoping it puts up a fight.
Hehe, maybe they should remake FFXIII while they're at it...(My biggest disappointment of 2010)
Just wanted to say excellent point. Being a more (ahem) "seasoned" gamer of 35, I never stopped to consider that.
No, it hasn't. But note that the author clearly states that, AND this isn't a news piece. The article is tackling the flood of announcements that HAVE happened and the general trend of remakes. Please remove your report?
Who ISN'T these days? Hell, if Dynasty Warriors can keep on truckin, I guess anyone else deserves to try.
Ah, my apologies I'll remove the report.
Now I'm wondering how long until "Halo: Race Edition" is revealed. On a related note, Warthog in Twisted Metal PS3 ftw!
This: "What we see are slick, fluid controls, along with a bright, cheery atmosphere. While the author doesn’t necessarily come into this with high hopes (even negating the fact that this 2D scroller was based off of a rather ailing national title release), I came away enjoying and wasting a considerable amount of time on this little EA release"
..is the entire review. Really?
They're supporting it through its lifespan just like Burnout Paradise. If you weren't a troll, you'd realize how cool that is.
(yes, i own and love both Forza 3 and GT5)
PS3 doesn't have the extremely high caliber of platform games the Wii has? What about the Ratchet & Clank series, LittleBigPlanet...Mirror's Edge?
Hrm...Perhaps you're right :-)
@Ghost: You can't use the Mario Galaxy argument...why do you think it was made using spheres? :-)
Couldn't agree more.
I wonder what the story was concerning Wii exclusivity. I read somewhere that even through 2007 Spector was developing Epic Mickey as a multiplatform release. (maybe even 2008?)
@Axecution: You said " EB Games/Gamestop DOES NOT MAKE ANY MONEY from you pre-ordering a game."
This couldn't be further from the truth. Think about 2 million people pre-ordering a copy of Halo: Reach a few months ahead of the release date. Let's say they only put $5 down...You don't think that equals some nice interest sitting in a gamestop bank account? Those little preorder deposits add up.
Oh, Nathan Fillion WAS available, in fact he lobbied for it all over the place.
Fuck.
they can't be trusted by anyone who's only had two days to review it, and us rushing their piece out the door on launch day. Sites do this for traffic, not integrity.
I happen to know that the majority of publications only received their review copy on Monday, and less than 48 hours they've got a review online? Do you think they've even scratched the surface?
Problem is GT6 won't be out until the the PS5 launches :-)
(just making a stab at all the Gt5 delays)
@T9X69: HA, i like your "reviews are fuel for the fanboy" statement. Sadly, true.
...and I just started AC2, the top of my Stack of Shame...
Really can't wait to get to Brotherhood.
