Two words.
Damage Control.
You try sooooooo hard.
Now I don't know about you guys, but Deep Down looks far more appealing to me than Ryse...
Last week, my brother and I grabbed Rayman: Origins off the the Playstation store, went through the entire game, and transitioned seamlessly into Legends.
To say we have been on a platforming overload would be an understatement.
Great fun with couch co-op. Beat the games with a friend.
The thoughts of what a next gen version can look like blows my mind.
Why does it seem like Microsoft just doesn't tackle indie radical/indie ideas? Apart from their work with Remedy, a big name studio at that, it seems as though they side with run-of-the-mill experiences when choosing their partnerships.
This is what lends to the fact that the Xbox has no identity.
This means a huge fluctuation of shovelware will undoubtedly make its way to the masses. Shame.
Septic, you're denying some pretty believable scenarios. Anything can happen to the hardware on both sides. It's the fact that you're so quick to dismiss these claims that bothers me.
Then delay it in Australia. Pretty simple. Oh, but you wouldn't have the cahoonas to do that, would you Microsoft? Stop lying to me. It's insulting.
Even if the X1 were to release before the PS4, I really can't see it doing much damage to the tidal wave of positive feedback Sony has received throughout the year.
Switch the other way around, on the other hand, and all of those people ready to shell out $500 on the Xbox alone can suddenly buy a next-gen platform with a game of their choice.
I had heard that was the weakest entry, so it's interesting you say that. I feel like IV harkens back to part 2's greatness, and with this new open world approach and Caribbean style I can't go wrong!
But I apologize, everybody, I'm going far off-topic. I accept any report I receive. I'm well aware there are swarms of sharks lurking about N4G!
Damn, you're getting 4 games? I was gonna go that route, but then I decided two games with the PS camera for social interaction and an extra sexy blue DS4 would due with Killzone Shadowfall and BF4.
I want to spend a lot, but not too much! Plus I'll finally be picking up a Vita as well, and need extra funding to support that device, i.e. Mercenary, Rayman Legends, 32 gig memory, and a bevy of neat portable games like Hustle Kings, SSD etc.
This gamin...
Agreed. Now I just need to decide between Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV. Luckily for me, I never bought into the hype for Brotherhood, Revelations, or part 3, so the AC experience is still relatively fresh to me.
I also really hope that Knack is the next-gen sleeper hit this holiday season, despite its dusty visuals, the game looks creative and fun.
Just give it a 9.... It deserves it, not only in quality, but just for the sheer fact that it harkens back to the greatness of the 2D platformer.
This game is the sleeper hit of 2013. (not including indie developments)
Yeah, DCm you're right, the final few months is the most vital time to add that coat of polish and iron out any screen tearing/frame drops. But usually, when the textures are of such poor quality towards release compared to their counterparts, it's set in stone.
Here's to hoping that all of that will be sorted out.
I'm really in disbelief that you two are up in arms over this. If you're sitting around for days of click time trying to win prizes that a 9-5 can net you in little more than a day's pay, then I don't know what to say.
While we're speaking on couch co-op, guys, I highly recommend busting out a few controller for Rayman Origins/Legends. Great fun to be had.
The only use of more than 4 controllers I can see making sense is in a sports game. And even then, who is going to fudge-pack all of their buddies on the couch to do such a thing? I have yet to see any couch support for seven controllers in any PS3 title.
Guys, is it shallow for me to say that the recent next-gen console debacle for BF4 has sort of turned me off to the experience? The entire time leading up to Gamescom, I was hyped for what I thought would be a perfect PC translation over to PS4. But now that I'm hearing of some of these technical issues, I'm not sure if I'm ready to just dive in right away to put Shadowfall on the backburner.
When I un-wrap my new console, I want a proper next-gen game to boot, mu...
This is the most disjointed console launch ever. 180 after 180, reduction of an already abysmal launch market, missing features, a complete lack of any actual street date this late into the year, and a shimmied-in Fifa for the European market, but no perks for their biggest demographic.

Jap, Brit, Yank, it's all the same. Don't be so sensitive.
