I don't know where you read that< but that info is more than likely wrong.
The point is the bar has been set higher, so now things like weather are neccecities to keep up to date with the evolution of racing games. This is why Polyphony pushed so hard to put damage in GT5, because it was something they really needed to keep up with Forza.
And since Polyphony added damage, it would only be right for Turn 10 to take a similar step to evolve their game in terms of scale.
This sure does re-inforce the fact that IGN is the gaming media publication to beat. Juggernaut of a site. I enjoy Podcast B3YOND every week I listen to it.
I want the ending sequence of each title to be satisfying though. I'm not waiting a thousand years for the story to continue.

They followed a similar model for other games and they all failed. However, I will remain optimistic since it is Remedy and they know there stuff.
It is disapointing, however, that out of all this time they've been working on it, they're telling us out of 5 years of work that we still won't get the full game....

Is personally my favorite RPG of all time.
It's exactly like HHG's set-up right down to the tee. Just the way the article is set up is exactly like HHG, except with slimmed down flame-bait and no music.
Did you even take the time to consider that RE5 was seperate from those PS3 exclusives? There is still a backlog of Multiplatform titles I have to get to. For example, I just picked up Prince of Persia. I was in no way making the incinuation that RE5 was either releasing later next year or is exclusive to PS3.
