You think L4D2 looks better than Resistance 2??!! You humor me, I'll give you that much. Not only does Resistance 2 look much better, the scale blows L4D2 out of the water. Don't be foolish, beens. Make any more comments like that and you'll take Why Dis's spot as the black sheep of N4G.
Edit @ beens: Yep, there he goes again, making stupid comments. Sorry to break it to you buddy, but those two games aren't even in the same genre. They're completely different games. You're bei...
I didn't mind her that much. When the latter portions of the game came along, all was forgiven.... Oh yeah, she covered up.....
F#&% you Ashley!!!!!!
Lol just kidding sorry if I came off as some creepy ass nerdo.
No. But I do think that they need to start making content that isn't officially licensed like the animal costumes. Not all people can dish out 5 bones for a few costumes. But I must admit, the Ico costume pack was worth every penny, as was the MGS pack.
I played both Goldeneye and Perfect Dark everyday for years. Even if it meant sitting down and playing for like 5 minutes. That was some incredible gaming. And since I was a little kid, it was even better.
I'm not sure whether I should go for this, or just get Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 instead at $15, and save money to put toward RE5 and Dead Space. All these three games are the only ones on my backlog.
You're probably the first multiplatform fanboy I've ever seen lol. That's one sad little list you have there.
I wish people appreciated how incredible Criterion's Burnout engine was back when it was released. The ammount of meticulous detail in such a large enviornment was incredible, especially when you factor in the 60 frames per second. Not to mention the lighting engine was upgraded in a previous update.
Yeah I know, but I just found it hilarious. I was a legend in Vegas... Now the game is just dead, especially snce I've been playing the crap out of Killzone 2.
Had by far the worst endinging I've ever seen. Here's how it went down.
After beating the Helicopter, you run across the tennis court to confront Gabe (who betrayed you). Oncde you move close enough to him, you sit frozen in first person and watch an in-game conversation between you and Gabe. After about 2 minutes of the most rediculously generic conversation you'll ever hear, you simply pull out your pistol and shoot him square in the face. Well, I shot him in the face with th...
The transitions in MGS4 were pretty superb as well.
What is with people with real life avatars today lol.
Let alone a Tomb Raider game. Just don't buy any more of these games. Because the more people do, it seems that fond memories of the first three Tom Raider games will drift further and further from reality in terms of Eidos revisiting them and delivering a great game.
I don't think they can produce a quality game anymore. They've grown old and lost it. The only thing I'm looking forward to with the Eidos water mark branded on it would be io Interactive's next Hitman game. A nex...
Don't even mention Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid in the same breathe. It's just embarrassing and makes you look like a fool. I don't care if it's fanboyish wishful thinking or a joke, because either way it's a delusional inference or simply not funny.
There are many comparible elements between Uncharted and Tomb Raider, including the settings, the heros, treasure hunting, and a mesh between platforming and gunplay with a dash of adventure thrown in.
If they do something similar to Battlefield: Bad Company Gold Edition, I'm all for it. However, if I'm getting videos I can watch online and an action figure count me out.
Extra game content is all that matters to me.
I was trying to have a balanced outcome for both... But I think you're right... I can't decide, because I don't really wanna get flamed from fanboys from either Nintendo or Microsoft, so I'll just play it safe and retract my previous comment.
Samus has been through a lot more and is a much more intriguing protagonist. Ypu know what, screw it, Samus wins.
Exactly what I was saying. I'm not too sure anybody would have the guts to verse Kratos, not even Master Chief.
Well, for the sake of retro respect, I'd say Samus. But realistically speaking, I think Master Chief would win... This is a tuffy. Personally, I can't understand how anybody in their right mind would find Master Chief to be a likeable character, however, he has an enormous fanbase so I'll respect that. There's no need to be biased here just because I don't like Master Chief, so I'll give him the victorious outcome.
My general consensus is that Kratos would walk in and tear them...
They could've at least included violencde along the lines of the first Sigma gmae on PS3. If you want gorey violence then pop in GoW3 until it comes out and if you cannot wait until then, play Gears 2 or a Resistance game.
Yet you can't post any pics of L4D2? Oh the irony. What's next? Are you going to show me some pics of the CGI trailer shown at E3? Oh yeah, it doesn't matter if you show me screens from the first or the second because judging by the development cycle they have running over at Valve, both games won't look any different. Here, I'll put up some L4D2 screenshots for you.
