Actually, that comment was in response to all of the haters that were in fact going off-topic just as you were and was in no way an original comment. But you seem to look past all of that in a cheap way to exploit a contradiction that doesn't exist. How sad.
You actually owned yourself just now by once again trailing off and stating you like Resistance 2 and killzone 2. OH REALLY BOB DOLE? THAT'S AWESOME!! /s
Very underwhelming. I'm more excited for Epic Mickey. IGN, just wow.
Profit that companies make off software is just as redundant as the whole sales argument when determining what platforms any given game can be played on. Exclusive in this generation means it's strictly on one platform.
Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Splinter Cell Conviction
The Agency
Gears of War
All of these games can be found on a system other then the 360, wouldn't you agree? I'm definitely not hatin...
Really Bob Dole? So you actually commented on the lucky chap that got the game early? Hmm, guess something got lost in translation when all you did was express your feelings on the franchise. Perhaps you'd be right if the article was entitled "What are gamer's feelings on the CoD IP," you would have a point, but sadly, in Bob Dole's world, relevance doesn't exist, and this instance is no exception.
Very well then.
Then I guess that puts Bob Dole in the large majority f those that haven't a single rational thought to contribute to the discussion regarding CoD at all. Just an opinion that isn't relevant to the topic at all.
Thanks Bob, but we don't care what you think of the game.
Ont topic: This guy is pretty lucky, but Uncharted 2 is still keeping me very occupies. Though I would love for this guy to live across the street from me.
I find this length acceptable for these types of games, as the meat of the length lies in trial and error, much like LittleBigPlanet. I'm sure many others will be content with this length as well.
I wish you guys would stop following suit with every forum crawler and deem MW2 one of the worst things to happen to the gaming industry. You guys hate on CoD so much and seem to forget just how many hours ALL OF YOU sunk into the original Modern Warfare.
It really is sad to me how people hate on success just for the sake of separating themselves from the popular opinion.
I know all of you are very upset about how Activision is treating us gamers, and my opinion is n...
I respect your opinion completely and even agree with you in the repect of MGS4 being the superior experience, but you seem to be forgetting that this review is just the opinion of one person. It's entirely subjective according to the readers taste in games, and should not be perceived as an actual fact sheet. It's just a review.
As for your accusational undertones of me being a fanboy, I own both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. No fanboy here, just somebody who enjoys fantastic gam...
Thanks a lot. I need as much support as I can get.
Thanks man.
One thing that i keep thinking about is how exactly would you replay the game in order for it to play out diffeently each time. I don't want to just purposefully sit there and watch my characters die for good on purpose without hitting any buttons.
Because there's always that urge to try to hit every single button in QTE's. I just keep thinking how this would work out. Maybe it lies in the difficulty of executing them.
Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed the review!!
I wish I can call Borderlands good filler between the gap of AAA games coming out, but there are just so many that Borderlands will eventually just fade away. It will be one of those games where after Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, Heavy Rain, GT5, MW2, AC2, GOW3, and all the others are released, people will glance over at their dust ridden copies of Borderlands and think "Why the hell did I buy this?"
Fun co-op will not be enough to have people coming back, in-turn givi...
I just feel sorry for 360 fanboys that will never get to play this game because they cannot put aside their fanboyism. It's a shame that people like JokesOnYou, why dis, and beast master will never be able to play this game.
Last time I checked, it's the 360 that is taking the plunge into the casual/children gaming market when you take into consideration the kid-friendly UI, Natal being represented as the central aspect of the 360, kiddy avatars, and simply a more aesthetically appealing console design. Even the games on 360 prove this.
Halo 3 - Essentially a tutorial on how to play a modern FPS. The bright rainbow colors don't exactly help either.
Forza 3 - Rewind and auto break present with l...
If these will retail for 299 then the NFS Shift bundle is a winner for me this holiday season. Well, more for my brother because it's his! Cannot wait to get a second PS3 in my house.
I understand your point, but I was in no way implying that. I have both systems dude, and have no reason to big up the ps3. I look at Uncharted 2 as a massive achievement in modern gaming, not a 1-up for the Playstation 3. It's all about the games, man. And that is precisely wy I'm loving Uncharted 2 right now.
And last time I checked, nobody really used GOTY as a platform to spread fanboy crap. Just look at GOTY editions of Left 4 Dead, LittleBigPlanet, and Gears 2. They all don't...
I hate to break it to you, but competition is what fuels the industry to make bigger leaps into doing bigger and better things. And if deadreckoning the ultimate fanboy doesn't like it, then I don't know what to say. Because if Uncharted 2 was on 360, you better bet your ass he'd be thumping his chest screaming at the top of his lungs GOTY. I know many PS3 fans that are.
What are you talking about? Are you saying I don't have the right to speculate on what GOTY could be? I'm sorry that you're mad because media publications don't host an "Expansion of the Year," award. At least then you can be happy for your precious 360 to accomplish something this year.
You don't have to hold malice towards Uncharted 2 just because it's a kickass game and just so happens to be a PS3 exclusive. Give credit where credit is due and quit your whining.
If you think GTA IV is anywhere CLOSE to a full GTA experience then you have lost your f#cking marbles. DLC to an old game does not sound very enticing at all especially when you take into consideration that Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, MW2, Assassin's Creed 2, R&C, Borderlands, and Forza 3 are all out or coming soon.
But I'll leave you alone, because it must be exciting to proudly say "Only on 360," once in a blue moon. Funny thing is, I have a 360 and I just find ...
