So far you've bookmarked almost every N4G article. How much time do you have on your hands? Are you looking for a triumphant day on a forum to boost your self-esteem or something? Must be a sad life for you, especially when you don't know how wrong you will when God of War 3 drops. It's the only game besides MAG that 360 players that I know personally are jealous over. My entire school wants God of War 3, but only a sleet few have a PS3. What does that tell you? They've certainly acquired a r...
DICE knows they're the far better company delivering the far better game. I know it too.
Good thing Killzone 2 has the best of both. Stop pretending like you have a completed beta version of the full game. Gameplay is subjective across a multitude of gamers. Unfortunately for you and your Xbox, graphics aren't...
At first, it was quite easy to laugh at your comments. But now, I just find myself toting my head in shame.
I find Alan Wake to be the most spectacular looking game on the system, even with its corner cutting tricks. Gears 2 is far too small in sheer environmental scale to even compete with many games. The scope of the level design in Gears of War games is what most likely allows Epic to full off visuals like that.
What's exciting about Reach though is the fact that the levels are very large and have large amounts A.I. scampering around the game world. This is far more sophisticated th...
Lets be honest here, people that were claiming Reach could outshine Killzone 2 were completely foolish from the offset. Bungie is going to be drowning in his own tears. These days, you simply cannot have any unrealistic expectations for what the 360 hardware can pull off. All that awaits is disappointment.
I agree. It will take something special to revitalize the genre. The western developers are simply killing it.
Mass Effect
Elder Scrolls
Fallout
Fable
Dragon Age
Hell, even Demon's Souls, a Japanese developed game, utilizes many aspects of a Western RPG.
The only real fantastic JRPG to surface this generation is Valkyria Chronicles IMO.
That's just the effects. I'm talking about the actual sound quality.
Don't be foolish, Pandamobile. I'm being fanboyish, I'm just stating the facts. Console exclusivity has nothing to do with this argument. Though I do admire your lame attempt to turn this into a console debate. Shoudn't you be playing the Starcraft 2 beta or something?
I was talking about Uncharted 2. I would also put Killzone 2 ahead of BC2 though, placing BC2 at a close third place.
Errrmmm. Wrong.
Uncharted 2 uses a sophisticated 7.1 LPCM Uncompressed HD surround sound. Have you even heard of Lossless audio? The actual effects in BC2 are pretty good, but the sound is compressed to fit on a DVD and it can only be output through a 5.1 set-up at the most.
Nice try though. While BC2 is clearly a strong candidate for excellent audio design, it doesn't even come close to what ND has achieved.
For instance, as my friend mentioned earlier ...
Uncharted 2 still retains the crown for audio design. No game even comes close to Uncharted's audio design.
Actually, it clearly states in the article that he by far favors impressions from users online. So in a way, yes he does care about his review.
Just stop, because the bottom line is, nothing on the 360 has pushed any technical boundaries since the original Gears game debuted. And chances are, you will not see any game on 360 hardware push the envelope tht far ever agin. Even soon after the release of Gears, the first Uncharted came along and completely dwarfed it.
And at the end of the day, you will never see God of War on any other console except a Playstation. Hate to break it to you, but it's true.
I used...
Now I'm looking back on all of the 360 fanboy's comments on how Alan Wake has the best visuals on consoles. I initially laughed at them when I aw their comments, BUT NOW I'M F*CKING DYING OVER HERE!!
BUNGIE AND GREEN RING OF LIFE FAIL SOOOOOO HARD!!
I LOVE HOW THE MUSIC IS SUPER LOUD!!
Though I don't exactly agree with Capcom's practices, or particularly enjoy their game catalogue as a whole this generation, he's an important figure in gaming. But in the end, everyone is a person with a life, so this is saddening to hear.
RIP, Mr. Beahmont.
Don't be ignorant. I'm talking about post-Halo, so get your head out of your ass. Marathon was a great game, but Oni?? Errrrmmmm.... Not sure about that one. But good try though.
So basically, only one game on that list was exclusive.... Jesus Christ, Xbox fails so freaking hard these days.
