Hard disagree, I just bought Demon Souls because it looked incredible on the PS5. I'm enjoying it even more than Bloodborne (which is the only other Soulsborne game I've played).

High prices on things like Switch aren't so much of an issue as you can sell the physical game on the used market for pretty much what you bought it for. High prices for digital games you then can't sell on (this will absolutely be changing thanks to NFTs) will never work.
What a large dollop of meh. The thing with battle royale games is that from day one they have to be absolutely spot on or else they don't get the player base and they fade into obscurity.
People are comparing Forza 5 which looks like a heavily graded and stylised production e.g. Top Gear, Grad Tour etc with GT7 that looks like fairly raw POV footage from a helmet cam.
Given that one is an open world, highly polished arcade experience vs one that is an out and out sim, you really can't say that the graphics are lacking. It's the presentation style that's different, that is all.

This is the same Rockstar that delayed LA Noir and sent in a cleanup squad to rescue the game. They've really taken their eye off the ball letting this unfinished mess out to the public and given the review embargo, they knew it was a mess. Really poor by Rockstar

Lacks all the style and charm of the series. It's not hard, bring Designers Republic on board and they would absolutely nail the aesthetic again instead of this watered down, cell shaded, lackluster effort.
