No sh@t Sherlock. Why would Anthem sell really anything in Japan on Xbox One if Microsoft doesn't have a foothold there?

@CorndoBurglar

"1. The game's design is just poor."
How so? What design point are you specifically talking on?

"2. There is no interesting loot. It all looks the same and there is very little of it."
Fair enough that all the weapons look the same with the only visual variance being in the very high level weapons having a unique skin design added. Variance is more so solely put into the inscriptions and their RNG...

Guess what... also no plans for BR, Anthem farming simulator, vampires, nor a Lego Version. What is your point?

This is why you don't go to "Wired" for game reviews.

Sure the game has its issues. Some that are simply annoying as F#@K! But the idea the game isn't fun is wrong. The only reason I am still playing past the issues I find is because of the exact fact it is fun.

I own an Oculus Rift... and it really is just a fad item. Just like the Kinect I own and other such items... they are simply not the future of gaming. They don't allow the control of gaming that people expect. Note... I used to have the Power Glove and Virtual Boy too... of which was claimed they too were the future of gaming. Not so much. lol

FYI... VR/AR Is NOT The Future. Sure it can be fun when done right but it simply does not have the level of gameplay that non-VR/AR games have. It simply is too confining in control and play to be anything more than what Kinect and PS Eye had with their game offerings.

Since games have really been popular someone has always tried to reinvent the wheel and offer us some kind of immersive interactive experience that is supposed to be the future of gaming. But they all have re...

I still would put money down that PS5 Backward Compatibility will have a cost associated to it. Doubt Sony will allow you to play games for free on PS5 and will likely simply use BC to bring more games to PS5 to sell.

Actually just started the game and the details here are not needed. You can simply unlock the N7 Vinyl straight away... don't even have to wait for the quest portion of the guy that sells vinyls. Basically once you are able to get into your Javelin and change your appearance the N7 vinyl is available straight away for 36000 coins. Waste of an article.

Not really a quest for that skin though... just a quest that opens up the trading option with him. N7 skin just happens to be one of the items he sells.

Basically talk to a trader called Prospero when the option becomes available and do the necessary quest to start buying stuff from him. It becomes an item he sells it for 36000 credits.

HDR pops... what does that even mean? Does it make the game unplayable? Does it make it look worse than the non-HDR gameplay? What exactly are they try to relay to us?

@blacktiger - obviously disagreeing with your outlandish idea that ALL CEOs make that much money. Only very large companies have the ability to pay their CEO the kind of money that you see him earning. Many more smaller companies exist where CEO does not come close to making such money.

When I cam back home the first time in a long time after being in the military my mother commented that my language became nothing but F bombs. Simply did not realize it myself but the things you pick-up in the military usually start with such language.

Not like this is new news. I have had it installed on my Xbox for at least a week now. And the original Crackdown was only 6.83GB... not seeing the files size as really that small even compared to some modern titles today.

Article starts out with an outright fabrication. It quotes Jim Ryan in the instance of a backwards compatibility reference he made and they left out the key first part of the quote, though they reference it as "the full quote"... here is the COMPLETE QUOTE “When we've dabbled with backwards compatibility, I can say it is one of those features that is much requested, but not actually used much. That, and I was at a Gran Turismo event recently where they had PSone, PS2, PS3, and P...

Well you are wrong. Native Americans did not actually own the land and did not believe in land ownership. They did have territory but they did not believe said territory was ownable by any person or tribe. And the act of land sales back in the time even were enacted by the colonists and not the Natives and tribes were basically given items for a land and told they were still allowed to do what they always did on the land and the acquisition of the land was a colonial concept only.

Saints Row 4 is the only game that comes close to the experience you get from Crackdown series. None of the others are even close to the style and gameplay.

@wombat - "I would argue that Fortnite would be a success even if it went the classic deathmatch mode (kill, wait, respawn), and in fact, I would love to see that just to change it up a bit." I have to assume you simply don't play Fortnite because it already has had said game mode available for some time now.

Fortnite still has a much larger player base than Apex Legends does. The idea it will surpass Fortnite is very far fetched. Apex Legends is not a bad game and has a lot of good things going for it but the way it hit the market in comparison to the way Fortnite hit the market is completely different. Fortnite did it off of hear game doing all the talking for it. Apex Legends though being a good game hit the market with a huge advertisement campaign pushing it along with a quick surprise launch...
