If he was still actively involved with MS Xbox division then I would think he was trying to say something with the inclusion of Zelda with all the Xbox stuff.

@ninsigma - 99% of PS and Xbox users also have a PC. Your point?

Typical, he was getting owned by her so he switched teams and married her. Noob.

Pretty sure sales in NA have little to do with the talk on why sales are down in Japan.

3321d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I don't see that myself, as the majority of negative feedback I see are from those fans that really were looking for a good play and just aren't finding it. Of course you are going to have those that saddle up to either side of the discussion but the sale numbers after just one week of release are not natural for what would be considered a good game. (again, not saying FF XV is a bad game... just that its sales don't reflect the same numbers as other titles that see week after wee...

Not really... good games and especially good movies usually last at the top of the charts for awhile before numbers start dropping at a drastic rate like this. (especially after only just one week being out)

Not saying that FF XV is a bad game myself but the idea that good games and movies just naturally drop at that rate doesn't appear to be very accurate.

@BongSmack - then you to disagree with HarrisonMode and his movie analogy?

@Shin-Zantetsuken - excellent points.

I would recommend though that you at least edit your post with a big (POSSIBLE SPOILERS) at the top to help those that aren't looking for that much story release on a game they might not have finished as you have?

And on point with subject, as I was purchasing Christmas gifts yesterday I came across a guy that was picking up a copy of FF XV and discussion turned around to the fact he realizes from reviews and su...

@kevinb - though your remark about where the Wii was last Gen versus this Gen reflects on the supposed 'console market dying' it does not reflect on the over-all discussion matter which is a PS released title. Which has nothing to do with the Wii.

So actually his comparison about where PS3 and PS4 stand historically along with comparative titles does actually work here and means something. And your and Harrylikesgames assumption that overall console market lessenin...

I am disappointed with the art direction. Not liking what appears to be a mix of photo realistic background (or at least high detail) to old school cartoon-like character facial features. It is really throwing me off.

And in the combat photo it looks like the combat has grown very little. Still using the 'squish a character' animation when hit. Don't just regurgitate, give me some advancement please.

If nothing else I believe this and the Scorpio Specs over-all are going to push for MS to put out more first party games that will have added benefits like this to tout for their Scorpio upgraded versions of the game. Which in turn can help push 3rd party support to follow suit. Not a bad thing.

Edit: MS is known for keeping their cards a bit closer to their chest when it comes to game releases and announcements. Not 'usually' announcing games as far out as their c...

Looks like excellent capture. Best I have seen to date. But why did the person keep morphing in the video? Are they still not sure what body shape and head shape they are going to use? It wasn't mentioned in the demo video so thought it was odd.

Now if they can work just a little more to tweak those very minor issues that snap us out of that idea it is real. Guitar was great up until the point when he walked into the room and her posture with her right shoulder to elbow...

I didn't understand what was trying to be said here in the article in reference to the number of XOne owners who have played BC titles.

"Nearly 50% of Xbox One owners! That’s an amazing number, seeing as I find it impossible to believe that almost 50% of Xbox One owners never had an Xbox 360."

Having been an Xbox 360 owner does not automatically include you in the numbers that have played BC titles. Pretty sure it is just based on those tha...

From the article: "For a concrete reminder of "fudging," here's some of the things devs and Microsoft execs said about Project Scorpio in the console's E3 2016 sizzle trailer. Note that a lot of these things may be 100% true about Project Scorpio." and then they go to list things that have not been identified as being fudged as of yet? Why is this even here?

The fudging part was only in relation to Major Nelson and him stating how to advertise a ...

@Cobra951 - yes I understand that. What I didn't understand is the comment by Lon3wolf that only keeping the 1st one in is required. I don't recall at any point in the past of being able to play Lost Odyssey without disk swaps when required by gameplay, not even after the ability to install onto HD.

Go ahead and push for digital. Unless you make it cheaper there will always be someone ready to offer a hard copy device and games to challenge you.

One of the big reasons why Sony has the lead they do with the current console is the simple fact that MS pushed so many buyers away with this exact same thought. Sony even made fun of MS and turned it into a profit for them. Making MS realize they can't do it alone. Why? Same reason why people like the feel of cold hard ca...

Except with the broadband connection thing it didn't affect games that were not multiplayer. Simply required a minimum level of connection to allow good gameplay. No such benefit for simply making all games digital versus hard copy.

@XXanderXX - tell you what. You stay home, give me a call and I will bring the game to your doorstep. You pay me half the difference between the digital price and the store item and I will pocket the profit while you get that luxury of having a physical copy of a game and still keep that car full of gas in your garage.

Edit: you know you can get your grocery shopping done in same manner. ;)

Big difference in digital music downloads and digital games. Music, for the most part, you can find digitally, download it and simply listen to it with no other worries after that.

Games on the other hand though having a lot of options currently that allow you to do the same of downloading and simply playing with no other worries, they have been pushing towards the point of requiring a connection to online services to play.

If they draw away from the re...

Not the point. Even MS got ripped because of their plans to have their system do an online verification where you could go awhile even without it needing to be online.

Ubisoft is setting a precedent where it becomes the norm. I have online, not good internet service but I have it. I don't always have it and I don't allow my son to play games online without me supervising him. So with this pushing norms I and other parents won't have options to control our kids a...

Too bad that is the game chosen to showcase the Pro. The hate for the always online is already growing with many users and it is likely to hurt the game big time. Kind of like when we damned MS when they thought of doing it with XOne. Just not a good idea. (especially after getting everyone's interest with the single player)
