It is more so that there simply isn't any direct regulatory official on computers as on consoles. MS and Sony basically are held accountable for what they allow on their systems and will get the brunt of the heat on anything appearing on their systems because they regulate it. I just purchased an Xbox One S in January. I have over 100 games to play on my system now... still trying to figure out how the Xbox One S is considered to have no games when 90 of the games I own I have not been able to even try yet because of the other games I am playing.

You will be shocked when the Scorpio specs are actually announced. It speaks for itself and really little can be said from others on what it shows. If nothing else but that, truly a big enough announcement that it shuts up anyone instantly who talked trash.

If you think streaming a game to play is going to be less data than an initial download of a game. Then you are not going to be playing enough to get your money's worth for sure.
If you think that this subscription plan is not going to be an easy money maker that will fill the tills allowing for more resources towards exclusive titles then you are likely one of the same people that thought XBL was going to fail and that dial up would have been a better deal for their initial multiplayer strategy.
It always seems to be that people think it has to be one or the other. MS has already stated they are going to be upping their game on exclusives this year and the years coming... not seeing this subscription plan as anything that would take away from any of that.
Which is kind of the point of the article here that what MS is doing is what PSN should have done at the start. Like offering current games for the same price they now charge simply for streaming older titles.
I like how the thought of a game being able to be bought and played on both Xbox and PC somehow is a negative for it. As if that really is something that deters the sale of the game for anyone or makes Xbox owners think any different about making a purchase of it.

Sorry but I downloaded the demo and watched my son play (while I took over at times). After the first hour of the game watching every single civilian walking past me look likre the same guy I stole a car from an hour ago... I just gave up on it.
It was basically a cookie cutter game. Putting a little bit of all games into an open world concept and slapping some very repetative AI characters to interact with.
@darthv72 - 4 games for $10 a month? What are you going on about? Who spends $120 a year for Gold? That is just crazy.
But do note if you do drop Gold and just go with Game Pass you will not be playing online multiplayer.
@Rude-ro - you need to pay attention to what is actually being said by developers and insiders versus what you imagine is going to happen. Nice little add on of trying to imagine that Scorpio is some how going to be so dependant on some type of multi-tasking that it is going to effect its capabilities in game development. (did you just create that out of thin air?)
Try listening to what is actually coming out about the system instead of what the fanboys choose to focus on. 4K Native will be possible but is ultimately up to developers what they want to use the extra power for. They could equaly use checkerboarding and choose the added power to upgrade other graphical qualities of the game. Some qualties even that PS4 Pro players have commented they wish they could have on some of their games versus the 4K focus.
@Woolly_ - not actually because the system coming out for MS is still much more powerful than PS4 Pro and they still have the option to use the extra power in what ever manner they wish. They can go Native with the power or they could use Checkerboard and use the extra power for any myriad of graphical inclusions to make a game look and play much better.
