Simply because historically Sony is the one that pushed titles that didn't come out for ages after announcement. Only recently have they tried to change from that perspective. So to laugh at a single title on Xbox that basically fell into the same practice that Sony lived for so many years is a bit hypocritical is it not?
Xbox Original was the reaction to PS2 if you are going that direction. PS2 was released in 2000, while Xbox Original was released in 2001.
Xbox 360 came out a year earlier than PS3 to get a jump on the market that it lost against PS2. So they were competition.

Tired of the misleading titles. Just as they were misleading with PS4 Pro they are misleading here with Scorpio. Obviously both systems have the full support of all titles on other iterations of their system. What it should state is that Scorpio (and previous discussions on PS4 Pro) will have few titles that are capable of showing off the true power of the systems.

Only thing that really got me in Halo 5 was it seemed like boss moment fights turned out to be mainly cutscene emotional setups instead of what could have been intense combat fight moments.

You see the error in your comment is that you make it purely on the idea of exclusives. When in fact Switch won't even have many of the Cross-platform titles that PS4 and Xbox One/Scorpio have and will have. Switch will surely be the least favoured platform if you are looking to play the games that sell the most on all systems.
@DigimonMaster - and yet they are playing these Cross-Platform games on an Xbox. Cross-platform games are the biggest sales of system titles. Exclusives are purchased on either side for sure but sales for non-exclusives as a whole are much greater.

Except the fact when it comes to software the majority by far is cross-platform titles being sold. The Battlefields, CODs, 2K Sports Titles, EA Titles, etc.. Exclusives sell but not to the point where a system will die simply because it has fewer exclusives than another.

First off he is mixing handhelds with system consoles. And when it comes to simply the Xbox One and PS4 they are outselling their previous iterations by far. And you don't need to look at what year the console started declining but at what quantity of ownership. Which his data does not properly address.
