Why do they still have specific mission objectives in the game? Hopefully, the game tells the player what they need to do unlike Siren 1 & 2 where completing secondary mission objectives is simply by chance. I hated that crap because you had to replay parts of the game over and over until you got it right
The japanese retail version doesn't come out until the end of july. I wonder if the PSN version will come out in june like originally planned?
I don't know why...
I'm glad they didn't get rid of the anime cutscenes for next-gen since everything is in-game nowadays.
I wish they would localize all the Japanese "Tales of" games (I think I have every import except for the fanfare ones)
Does anyone really think Pyramid Head is scary? I just thought he was a pervert (what the hell was he doing to those mannequin monsters) with a urinal on his head.
I know Folklore restricts the character in ways to make it more challenging, but Folklore's art style and gameplay make it a very unique and original experience. Neither Folklore nor Heavenly Sword had framerate problems for me. Folklore played flawlessly, but Heavenly Sword had really bad screen tearing and shadowing. Plus, Heavenly Sword felt unfinished in both length and certain parts of the game (Whiptail battle and cutscene afterwards). Heavenly Sword even though similar to God of War ga...
It's a matte finish like macbook pro's
at least it doesn't show off finger prints and dust
If it's anything like my watch made from gun metal then you really can't capture what it looks like with most camera's. It's a weird offset gray color. These pics make it look like a matte version of the standard black PS3
I don't like that the "Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 4" engraved on it. Is that necessary? Everyone already knows that by the PS3's color
I just want to see a true next-gen side scrolling Mega Man game
Mega Man legends is always welcomed though
Just not easily sold like the rest of you
The same bunch of people who praise crap like Resistance, Ratchet, and Uncharted
Metal Gear is just eeh. It's cutscenes are nothing but long messy exposition that halts the game flow. The gameplay and cutscenes are two different games, because they have no impact on each other.
Snake still controls like a PS1 character. He's stiff, and mechanical. The environmental context controls are still very disconnected. An...
I've played through the first 2 acts and the gameplay mechanics are still as archaic as ever
The cutscenes should be half the length they are.
The games definitely pretty, but I don't know why they didn't use rendered shadows instead of realtime (that goes for all next-gen games)? The jagged shadows hurt it a bit
Besides the graphics, I really don't see what's so great. It's just MGS3 with better graphics in a nutshell
Unless you like collecting bulky memorabilia crap that'll end up in your closet and bonus DVD's that contain stuff that has already been released to the public and on youtube, then the answer is no
I just vomited in my mouth a little bit
One of the worst camera's in a video game
The game isn't hard (Ryu's weapons are too powerful), but the horrific camera and certain mechanics (Solders and Mechs with infinite rockets shooting off screen) break the game.
Plus the environments suck except for the the Aqua Fortress and Fiend Cavern, though Ninja Gaiden never had great environments really
ur mouth sounds purty
The game needs boobyalities
Instead of Star Wars characters, they should of had Samantha and Miranda from Sex and The City (to help promote the movie)
They might as well throw in Ipod ads in the backdrops as well. The Burger King is the final boss
SoulCalibur should be like the South Park episode "Major Boobage" where even the weapons and armor had t!ts
Capcom's Dungeons & Dragons side scrollers
A remake of Resident Evil 2 and 3 like 1 and Zero
I wish reviews would clarify if there's a Japanese audio option. I really hate english dubs and it would be a shame if the original audio track wasn't included in the North American version.
At least pull a Naruto and release the Japanese dub via DLC
I'm looking forward to the poaching bonus stages, lol
Actually this looks like a nice break from everything else coming out this year. I hope they show more for "Aqua"
I wonder if N. America is going to get it this year? At least it gives me enough time to work on my british narrating voice while I play
MGS4: B-
MGS3: B, Subsistence: B+
MGS2: B+
MGS1 (PS1): C+, Twin Snakes: B-
