I just want the lunch box
Well, someone's on his high horse. Sorry, I should have put quotation marks around ransom. I just figured no one would take that in the literal sense. The fact is game content is withheld from the final product and sold as DLC because they make more profit in the end from it. Hell, publishers/developers have been caught red handed locking content on the the disc and only way to access it is by buying a digital key. I miss the days when games were released as a complete functional product ...
Since holding game content for ransom is the norm now and the fact that season passes keep going up in price then the original retail price for the base game should be cheaper considering publishers make more money on DLC. Also, the digital version of a game should be even cheaper.
The opinions of the review differ greatly to those who did the GameSpot Plays Syndicate vid. Honestly, the gameplay looks like nothing new. I've learned with Creed games to just play the story missions and ignore all the padded ocd content.
Episode 1 was great. Episode 2 however
I was about to say. It doesn't help that it's through the same damn areas we've been playing since it launched.
In-house or outsourced again?
Surprised Team 17 would pick them up after looking at their portfolio
That sucks. I was hoping for a physical release. Probably means this game will never be discounted either
It reminded me of the TellTale The Walking Dead games. The game is basically on rails with very little deviation depending on your choices. I tried playing through it immediately after my first play through since I enjoyed it so much and wanted to see what doing the opposite would be like. It was very disappointing to say the least especially after how they hyped the Butterfly Effect and all the ways the story can play out.
They only tell you about 2 out of 7 items. I'm not going to throw that much money at a mystery box considering Bethesda does sales on Fallout hoodies 2/3 times a year. I prefer my 101 hoodie anyways
Maybe work on the replay value next time. The Butterfly Effect was highly exaggerated
I get watching a video of someone playing a video game you're interested in for the sake of knowing if it's worth picking up, but people that just like watching these annoying asshats and their lame, forced and predictable commentary just boggles my mind.
All the butthurt losers you just triggered
It should have been a nice chest that's filled with Dragon Quest memorabilia like an art anthology book and soundtrack along with steel case version of the game, Maybe a slime and some other trinkets to sweeten the deal.
I'm hoping for a nice elite bundle, but not counting on it
Too bad. However, I think we all know there has to be a sequel in the works. Hopefully with more focus on town interaction
I'm hoping it does well. I would love to see more games in that style. Fallout 4's viral cartoons would make for an awesome sidescroller.
Get rid of David Cage! He's holding back their potential
Where's my money?
