I will admit I've only played up to the retarded football sequence, but I just felt a complete lack of interest to continue. I started Dark Souls right after and already put 30 hrs in in 3 days.

I have no problem pointing out the things I think are a step back instead of moving forward and I think Uncharted 3 was a big step back. It wasn't as bad as Uncharted 1 but the gameplay is definitely becoming lackluster to me.
And yes I think some of the levels were dull. It's the predictable and tiresome platforming that made them boring to me...
