Well looking at the huge sales rise for the 3DS, I hope all these console makers in the near future realize over pricing is not the way to go.
I find it funny that all Nintendo said was "Super smash brothers is coming to the wiiu and 3ds" and people went crazy with speculations. Not a single release date, not an ounce of info about it, and we don't even know the name. That shows you the power that this franchise has gained throughout the years.

I really like the idea, it's the ipad but actually using that feature to full length and making it interact with the tv. Its innovative. I still think they need to have multiple controllers, then it will truly be unique.

Honestly that is a smart move. Developers have been wanting to have one server for all consoles for a long time, and the developers could say "Hey, if you don't want this system, we just simply wont develop for your console. Will stay with the wiiu until you do." I like it, gives the 3rd party more freedom to do what they want. Not saying this will happen, but it could be very likely
You guys underestimate the casuals. You may think "Oh its just a screen on a controller, the casuals wont buy that!"
but I also thought "the wii just has a remote, the casuals wont buy that!" or "Kinect has no buttons! The casuals wont buy that!"

The reason why the Wii didn't get third parties wasn't because of the graphics. THats only a small part of it. The reasons include:
1. lots of lag for onlne
2. No Hd support
3. No shaders to be able port
4. friend codes....ughh
5. No DLC
The Wii U fixes all of these problems, and not only that gives them a lot of freedom to do what they want with the online. It will defiantly get third party support
