No it is not portable, it works like a controller, it only works when you are near the console.

It wouldn't surprise me if they just release it for ps3, wii u, and PC considering the Disk and space size is so much more on these consoles than the 360. Just my two cents

lol someone is lying to their self. It's a marathon, not a sprint, games like nintendogs aren't "Oh my god have to buy it day 1" The sales stay moderately good for it's entire lifespan. It's the same with just dance. And if you honestly include ports as an example of first party not selling well, you are defiantly stretching. XD
