I remember a few months ago when it was complete 360 bias and the PS3 nor Sony could do anything right. Not only that but if you said anything positive about the PS3 you lost bubbles.

They fixed that in the firmwware update so that either version will when you download 1.90.
I got my 360 at launch. When the 720 comes out I'll probably be the last guy to get it. You're right, early adopters get screwed and this isn't going to happen again.
Unfortunately, MS is Sony's Stan. They are a fan that wants to be like Sony when they grow up. They really got to work on getting their own identity. I thought they were doing good with Live but I guess they are running out of ideas.

I disagree. SOTC needed hype because it was a great game and Okami needed hype because it is a great game.

I got 300 on bluray and it looks amazing. There is a little grain to bluray but I haven't seen HDDVD in my home to compare. I've got bluray and it's blowing away upscaled and regular dvd so I'm going to stick with it.
I'm trying to think of the wall you put that on and how far back you have to sit. Hmmm...why not buy a projector? I could build a movie theatre in my home for that price with correct lighting, seating and popcorn machine.

I don't let one review stop me especially when another review gave it a 9/10. This is still a best buy for me. See you guys on the 14th.
You're definitely entitled to your own opinion but on the 14th I'll be playing this game instead of Madden for almost the same reasons. Nothing I've seen in Madden has made me say "Wow". It looks like the same game from the past 3 years (gang tackling better). No offense to Madden because I do enjoy it but there hasn't been any significant innovation in quite some time.
On the other hand, there's nothing like Lair out here right now. I want to see how the story unfold...

Good article. I would definitely say that the story telling and plot of games hould be improved. I wouldn't pull in too many movie directors because so many movies suck right now but there are some guys out there doing their thing.
I'll take staff of 300 and the staff of Lord of the Rings to be on a game. That would be hot. Give them 3 years to make a hot game story implemented.
