It's cool that the developers can do what they want but I gues there should be some minimum requirements so that some companies (EA I'm staring at you) don't half ass what they decide to make available. I guess as a consumer we ultimately decide.
Just purchase from the guys who are delivering more and being more creative. I hope Free Radical takes advantage of this openness.
I'm a fan of sixaxis usage because I think it adds something to the gameplay. They're still feeling out how to use it appropriately so it's not a distraction or annoyance so patience is a virtue.
I will be picking up UT3 because it's a hot title. So many games, so little time.
I was hoping this game did well as I'm a fan of Dragonball and of course Final Fantasy. That's unfortunate. I downloaded the demo but haven't had a chance to get to it yet.
Every game can't be a AAA (TheMart's favorite line) but I'm sure this is at least fun. 7.9 isn't bad.
Odd but I with you Guitarded...
I played the demo and it has excellent graphics and I like the innovation of the gamplay. I like scary games but I don't like this one. To me it's like a scary movie trying to hard.
I don't take anything away from the scores that it's received because it's not my flavor. It deserves a 9 or 10 for what it does right but I just don't personally like the game.
Don't worry, they won't miss my $60. This game will sell w...
I can respect your honest opinion. I'm tryint to dwonload it now. Something happened to create an error after i spent all day waiting on it to download yesterday. I think it looks beautiful but I'd like to see how it plays.
Bubbles for your honesty.
Saved me the effort of typing.
Bubble for you.
Can I get a 25+ area?
Personally, I want all the features. He's probably right about kids playing games but I'm not a kid. I don't want it to just play games. I want it to play games very well and do other things very well.
I want the my receiver to do many tasks, I want my tv to do many tasks, and every other electronic device I have. In the very least, I want the option to buy it.
If I want something that just playes games I'll search Ebay for a NES. The Wii even has a web access. Why? Because mo...
I'm right there with you Alien. I have a 360 and I still play Halo 2 quite often (well, up until here recently). By far it was the most played game and second to that was the original Halo. I have no BAD things to say about it. I wish somethings about it were done differently but it's here now and it still looks FUN and that's the important thing.
I have a PS3 and I prefer it over my 360 but that doesn't mean I'm going to miss out on great games like Halo 3, Bioshock, and Mass ...
I hope that aside from the plastic surgery the chicks (never mad at that) are receiving they add new elements to the game. With the weapons and large characters this game could do a lot making use of destructible, interactive environments.
Using Mitsurugi's phoenix slash attack and shattering a wall or pillar in an effort to get to a player would be cool. You watch Pirates of the Carribean (fake, I know) but the environment is a huge part of the fight and makes it more interes...
Bubbles for humor.
Hopefully this helps fanboys realize that in business there is awlays delays.
The pendulum swings both ways.
They could actually use the Bible for some pretty awesome games for those of that faith, probably the Quran too but I haven't read it so I don't know its stories. Unfortunately, the times do not cater to taking religious seriously. It's either take it extreme or no religion at all. Sucks...
I don't really understand your logic but I'm sure it makes sense to you some how.
I just turned on my 360 today to download Boishock. It hadn't been on for a month! I'm one of those peope who got my 360 for Halo. I'm no fanboy so I'm not going to say that I haven't enjoyed games on my 360 because I have (1 of 4 people who actually liked Kameo) but my PS3 has been keeping me incredibly occupied. Playing demo's on the 360 doesn't count as a game. If games go multi I normally get...
I guess that why you have to take game reviews with a grain of salt because they used about a grain of intelligence in their review of Lair.
I don't think I've ever heard such terrible reasoning and back peddaling about a game. "I like it but I also hate it"
Dragon fireballs should be more realistic...to what, actual dragons? What zoo is he going to that has actual dragons?
Cannibis and game reviewing are a poor combination.
Going to download this at lunch time. I'm really curious about this game. I've heard the great reviews but normally I don't get into the mad scientist games.
Can't knock it till you try it so I'm going to see how good it really is.
LOL!!!! What the phuck is this?!?!?!?
I may have to get it just to see. Great marketing.
That's a pessimistic attitude.
So you're saying you don't like the Lair demo?
There is no Lair demo. How do you know how good the game is?
Bladestar...do you make this crap up or are you reading from a cue card?
So EA didn't want to make the game as good on the PS3, that is surely Sony's fault right?
I know, I know, you're going to say Sony should've made it easier for them. It's Sony's fault for making a sophisticated machine that doesn't follow the norms to get better results. I hear you dude, I hear you...
Now I'm not listening.
It's really a shame that EA gets away with this. Not my $60 EA, not this year.
