Yeah, this shouldn't really be in the 360 section...
I'm short on cash at the moment but I traded in a few games and Uncharted2 cost me £2 in the end. I never usually trade games in but I HAD to have Uncharted2. It was either games or a kidney and it gave me a chance to streamline my PS3 collection anyway.
But now I'm sat here at work and Drake is staring at me. God I wanna be at home =/
I hated the game once I realised how lacking it was but I'm really pleased I bought it. Withought GTA4 I wouldn't of had enough cash for the trade-in I've just done to get Uncharted2. =)
Bought the first on PC, having to wait till I play it as my calculator... Uhhh PC isn't quite up to job of running it (my PC meets the requirements on the back of the box but the box fails to mention anything about pixel shaders =/)
My PC will get updated at some point and I'll get my chance to play the original. I think because of that, I'll probably get the 2nd on PC as well.

Fully agree with the article. Resistance 1 is probably my favourite FPS on the PS3. I got Resistance 2 for my birthday in March and I'm still only on the 3rd level.
Bring back the weapon wheel and 2 player couch co-op campaign and I'll be happy.

I had a great time with RE5, really enjoyed it, enough so to platinum it on PS3 but I'm not paying a penny for some crappy add on that should have been in the game from the start.

In all honesty, I haven't really thought what the story is going to be like or what it's going to be about. We know hardly anything about the game.
The more I read though, the more it feels that Kojima is overseeing the project. Metal Gear is his baby. It might not be as Epic as the Solid story and might not even be canon but I really don't think it'll be a let down... As a huge Metal Gear fan, I really hope not.
V1c1ous play the metal gear saga back to back (kinda) MGS3, 1, 2 then 4. Sure I felt my brain was about to esplode but it was awesome.
I'd LOVE to see an RPG from this man!
On a side note, I'm wondering how Kojima will introduce nanites to Castlevania... Maybe that'll be the explaination behind vampires.

Sorry, I love Ninja gaiden for it's gameplay and challenge. The story has never been it's strong point though. Just having Raiden run from one end of a stage to the other pretty much makes it compete with Itagakis story telling =)
EDIT: Actually, give Rose some massive sized implants and then I think we're set. We already have the sixaxis bounce in place.
If ever a game deserved trophies, MGS4 is it! I've completed the game so many times but I'd love to go through it again to get the platinum. Just please don't make any of the trophies online trophies or at least do it in the same vein as Uncharted2. Play a co-op match, play a competitve match. The rest should just follow the emblems.

LOOK SONY! Europe is supporting you more than any other region. I know you've done a lot better this generation at releasing games to us quicker than the past but we're supporting you, so how about you support us with lower PSN prices and an official release of Demons Soul (among others)

Meh, Modern Warfare isn't even on my radar. I know I don't speak for the majority but I'd prefer Assassins Creed II over Modern Warfare and that's saying a lot as I hated the first and have very little interest in the second... But that little interest is more than what I have for MWII.
I just hate the fact so many developers are scared of MWII that us non-FPS fans suffer or at least have to wait because of it.
I tried the PS3 demo of this title. It's since been deleted. I actually managed to get through the demo but it was a struggle! Not due to difficulty but mediocrity!
Can someone explain to me the appeal in this game because there was nothing that stood out to me yet a lot of people are saying it's going to be amazing.
I never played the version with OTT gore. The last Ninja Gaiden title I played was Sigma1. Because of that I don't feel I'm missing anything.
I've just gained a bloody (pun intended?) good, challenging, 3rd person hack and slash game.

Oh don't get me wrong. I want metal gear solid 5, "tactical action game" starring either Solid or Naked Snake on my big screen at home more than any other game announced or otherwise!

Ju, who knows what the Peacewalker story will bring. How it will end and how the characters that are introduced add to the Metal Gear Solid story.
I wouldn't be surprised if Peacewalker opens up a whole new can of worms that will have to be "immaculately" (in the way only Kojima can) dealt with in a new Solid title for the home console/s (?)
I very much doubt Kojima will close the book with Peacewalker. I would like to experience the timeframe between 2...
The thing that really get's to me about Rising is how people are getting disinterested in it due to it going 360.
I remember the first time we saw the new Raiden with the Gecko/Raiden fight movie then later on Raiden/Vamp movie. All the fans were like "WOW! Holy crap, look at Raiden now, he's amazing!" "I hope we get to play as him in the upcoming game" (MGS4)
But now because it's been announced for 360 everyones view of Raiden is that he's a ...
Metal Gear Solid 4 was an awesome game on it's own. With the amount of fan service that Kojima provided throughout the game (especially the later chapters) MGS4 rose above awesome and into EPIC.
I'm not expecting that same kind of feel from Rising, it is a side story afterall but as you say it'll still be a high quality game and as a fan of all things Metal Gear I can't wait for more even if it's just full on action rather than stealth.

All that's been said is that Mass Effect will probably come to PS3. Nothing else, no explaination of how it will tell the story to new players. For all we know they could do a mass effect 1 & 2 bundle.
