I'm not buying the whole motion control thing (Wii, PS3 or 360) I have always preferred a standard controller and until I see something on any of the above that literally blows me away, I'll stick with the pad.
I have untold amounts of respect for Kojima though and as was said above, if anyone can make something impressive out of the motion control scheme it's this guy.

Come on guys, us Ps3 owners have Ninja Gaiden Sigma2, Demons Soul and Uncharted2 right around the corner. I personally believe that Halo3 is an overhyped generic shooter but millions love it. Can't you just leave them to enjoy what they like without making crap like this up?

I've just played the demo again, this time on mentor and it definitely bought the difficulty up from warrior. I have heard however that the PS3 version is actually easier than the 360.
I don't know how true or not that is but they were comparing difficulties over at Gamefaqs earlier Sigma2 master ninja difficulty is "supposedly" easier than 2's mentor. I beat master ninja on the original so I wanna platinum this one.

Wierd, I've been through the demo 4 times and not once did I notice the camera hide gameplay or make playing akward.
I haven't played the 360 version but if you think the PS3 is a failure, wow! The 360 version must have been incredible!

The Demo is sweet! Loads to play with, unlocks and so on. I can't wait for the full game in a couple weeks.
I don't see this happening. I just can't think of anything that motion control could bring to add to the MGS world. I think the Sixaxis control in 4 was pushing it.

Product, if MGS1 is your favourite game ever, you owe it to yourself to at least borrow a PS3 and MGS4. I personally preferred MGS3 to 1 but it's a close call as I think the whole series is just amazing.
I can understand how you feel, I see your list of games that you play and as they say, different strokes for different folks. I'm not a huge FPS gamer or driving game gamer. GT5, Forza, I really don't care about, Modern Warfare2, Halo ODST, I couldn't care less if either of these...

I missed the show. I thought, Hey! I'll pick it up on the BBCi player on the PS3, oddly enough, Watchdog is nowhere to be found LOL.
I really struggeled finding this game in the UK. I eventually had to order online. HMV were saying that it had actually been deleted over here!?

My PS3 died last year when MGS4 came out (MAN I was SOOOOO gutted! Seeing as I bought the machine for it!) I phoned Sony knowing that I bought the thing on Ebay so didn't have an official reciept and it was over a year since I had bought it let alone the original owner. I don't usually post on comparisons but I do view the stories on N4G and this just shows that the comparisons are a complete waste of time.
I saw the comparison the other day where the PS3 was too blurry and you couldn't see the needles on the dials. WOW! They must have fixed that for this reviewers build.

I used to buy it monthly when it first released (that must be about 15 years ago now). It's been Nintendo Biased since day dot and that got old pretty early on. Can't say I've really picked up the mag or been interested in it for about 10 years. Oh tell a lie, they did a MGS4 special with an interview with kojima a few years ago and I picked it up then.
This generation though they seem to pull all the stops out for being a bunch of idiots. They do that pretty damn well!
