It's very amazing technology. People will be immediately drawn to the machines. Once a few people play some games they will be hooked.
Funny enough there will be consoles with twice the power next generation. I don't think it'll be that huge a hindrance in power needed for Virtual Reality. Having experience games would be awesome too. I'm sure there will be new genres created specifically to vr.
That's a bold statement but given its release it should be pushing the hardware by then. Ps4 hardware is becoming more familiar. It'll start to crank out excellent games now.
You know what would have been genius timing? To release against Uncharted 4. That would have given Xbox a direct competition with Sony's flagship. Also it's against another exclusive not their own games like Halo and Fallout 4.

Not really harsh. It's just how he wants to the game to turn out without any sacrifice. I bet Xbox One gimps many games that could be similarly built much better with just PS4 as the sole console it's built for.

Yea it's just year two down. This won't start peaking till end of year 3 or 4 where a few amazeballs games should drop our jaws.
It's a good game. Enjoy. I'll enjoy it later. I'm more excited to play UnchartedUN coming up soon. I've never been into Tomb Raider but maybe I would this new one since its more like Uncharted now. I'll just them both on PS4. Uncharted soon the Tomb Raider next year. By then I'll need another action adventure exploration fix after Uncharted. Although this year coming is gonna be stuffed with games for PS4. I'm not sure I can get everything I want this year and play...

There is a theme developing. Less and less VR detractors. More people disliking these comments like this that are always negative about it. Less people giving them likes. Get where this Virtual Reality thing is headed death? It's getting hyped and people are trying it and loved it. It'll be unstoppable with a few games.
Looks like a majority don't agree with you death. That's all that matters. If people buy it? Then youre opinion doesn't matter. Virtual Reality is where the future is. Kinect would be mere a peripheral for PSVR. They aren't in the same ballpark. Kinect at best is a controller for this thing. Not even the main controller or a good one. Therein lies the reason VR will at least have greater success than Kinect.
This has already been covered. It has a separate box and processor. Yes it runs. Those demos are of running hardware. On the PS4 already.
That's good news. The biggest advantage will always be the games. Give us games and it'll work.

I literally could take me a hour just create the starting character I want. That's not so unbelievable. I want a great character if I'm gonna spend days using that character.

Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted4, and Final Fantasy for me. Maybe The Last Guardian.
So far this year at every event there has been about 2 or 3 major announcements. That's unbelievable considering how many events there has been. Sony has sprinkled announcement after announcement through the year like it's games. My personal one for this event is PSVR games, launch date, and pricing. Among others like GoW4, Final fantasy7 remake gameplay, Crash, TLOU2, New ip. Sony is on fire adding games to its arsenal lately.
