They will need high tech or they are gonna lose again. They need better specs this time. Nobody is gonna buy into another PS4 or Xbox One similar powered console.
Probably his closest to the truth but even this is not completely true. Nintendo hasn't lost yet unless they released underpowered hardware again with no support. If they released something compelling enough then people will buy it and 3rd party support goes where the sales numbers are. It's not just gone for good if they come out with a really high tech machine that blows people away. Then probably people buy the machine. If people buy it then 3rd party support happens. Really pretty...
Kinect would be awesome with virtual reality. It's how they salvage that peripherals future.
I tell you what Microsoft add Virtual Reality to your console or acquire Oculus Rift rights to the Xbox and I'm aboard. Make exclusives for Oculus Rift then add a separate box to enable support of the Rift. Then boom I'll want a Xbox One.
It's possible it could go that way. However it's also possible it could become the next bluray or mp3. There is always a first.
All opinions. The answer will come from the consumer. When they put it on. If it amazes the average working Joe enough then he will spend his hard working money on it. If for anything we love us some cool technology. This shiz is cool. We live to show it off to people. This thing is easy to show off. We live to give a woman things to do at our place. This is fun to show a female and play together. Lastly because if it's anything like I think it will be???? Then games are gonna be complete...
It will be a new age in gaming. You'll put it on and immediately never want to take it off. Once you see rain falling or lightning in a virtual open world. Once you see monsters in a cave. Horror games where the jump scares are literally as you turn the corner. It'll make it scarier to turn each corner or open that door.
If you expect to lose another bubble then it's possible nobody agrees. Therefore it's not truthful. It's speculating. There are products which will eventually break through a market. So if you it see PSVR as a peripheral rather than new way to play games? It doesn't matter because there are always exceptions for the right product to break through. I believe Virtual Reality is that product even if it considered a peripheral. I've played as a young man. It is very entertaini...
Where would you move in a small living room anyways? Blinded by a visor over your eyes? I don't see motion controls as a negative. Being heavy is subjective and speculation at this point. Again I fail to see how surround sound headphones are used in Virtual Reality as negative. All sounds immersing. Nobody knows the price. Looks like a made up lIst of dislikes.
I think it looks fine. It could always be better but gameplay, atmosphere, fun are more important. As long as it's not pong or Fallout 3 type last generation graphics. I think they need to update to a new engine yea. However that is much more expensive and time-consuming to create a whole new engine and whole new open world game.
Virtual Reality has been in development for over 20 years. Many of the sickness issues have already been addressed. Of course there will still be a few problems. Even kids still get sick watching people play shooters still on regular consoles. I threw up one time watching Goldeneye.
No war without both competing. Odd headline. However yes Xbox will be far behind Sony if it does. They will need to scramble to catch up.
Good point. Maybe they create a better virtual headset? That would be nice.
I think the article is pointing out this particular event by saying it could sway the console sales even more heavily to PS4.
Titanfall strikes me as the game with most to gain when it comes to PS4.
I believe they can. If they are the Next generation console. Not this generation but a generation ahead of both. Then clearly everyone including me is interested in the new next generation console. The key term here is next. As in they released a console competing with PS4 a generation ahead of it in terms of hardware.
Unless it completely trashes both PS4 and Xbox in specs and performance. I could see people buying a very high end console that wipes the floor with PS4 graphics if they love it's cutting edge performance. Much like a pc crowd does.
It'll be significantly stronger hardware wise than PS4 or it'll be buried by PS4 and Xbox again. The price won't be 299 unless it's a huge bargain or huge disaster. Nintendo. Listen to your fans. Do not compete with PS4 and Xbox with a current generation hardware. Make them play catch up by creating the next generation console already a generation ahead of these two. It's only two years in. Catch them with their pants down early. Get the next generation started first only ...
It'll be underpowered because people don't want another PS4 similar in power type hardware situation with Nintendo's new console. It's already proven people are tired of Nintendo gimping it's power for each new console release lately. So if it's released at the same power as PS4 then it's underpowered. That's just the way I'm gonna view NX and others will too. They want it to move the needle in terms of hardware. Nobody wants another console the same as we ...
They are powerful systems. Just a little less ultra ridiculously powered than some wanted. There no way PS3 can do these games though. Killzone, Infamous, Bloodbourne, Until Dawn, Horizon Zero Dawn, Crackdown, Halo, Tomb Raider ROTTR, Ryse the list just goes on and on. The gap is only as close as it is because this is the end of year two. In two years it won't even be close anymore then there will also be Virtual Reality which PS3 probably couldn't even run.
