100 titles is a large amount. I can buy into that amount. That's content.
It all depends on Sony and what direction they go.
But only one specializes in electronics. Those parts? They can Cary in quality or importance. Hence also price.
I think it's not niche all that much. It's a new device. After time sometimes new devices come down in price and become mainstream. It's the device that finds the happy medium in quality and price that succeed. Maybe one day they make a cheaper yet higher end model that catches on after prices go down?
Because PSVR will be the cheaper, mainstream, heavily backed, simpler to set up alternative. It'll be niche in the same way people who missed out on those cool Plasma TVs from Hitachi missed out because of price barriers. The people who missed out on some Bose high end products but always wanted them type of cool tech niche. Some people will be lucky. Others will wonder how the better half is living. That's life.
And yet people doing it 20 years ago never had this supposed eye damage you speak of.
Well it's completely worth it to me. Although I am investing in the chmosg likely cheaper PSVR model I wouldn't mind paying 599 if it were the only virtual reality I had to choose from. I actually prefer something of its larger horror games variety I have seen showed for it so far. A part of its strategy I wish PSVR will follow. Another us porn. Obviously you're gonna say porn is for perverts in some peoples minds. However porn can help drive sales which drives support. There are ...
I'm not surprised in the least the PC version comes in at this price. It's like looking at the new Samsung galaxy and you know the premium experience is gonna cost you. Now if the PSVR is priced the same? I would be surprised. I have a feeling it's not though. I think the PSVR is like buying Vizio or whatever mass market appeal products. You know it's quality but good price too.
I think that's exactly their plan to recover their investment quick. Sell this to the buyers who buy the expensive rigs, audio, graphics cards. Then lower price to where your crowd can buy in later. Like a snowball effect.
It's the premium upscalable to your PC specs version. That version was gonna cost a few hundreds more to that crowd guaranteed. I'm not surprised. I'm a little pleased it's not 700 or a 1,000. It gives me hope PSVR is more in line with what I'm willing to pay. Which is probably 400 max to start. I'll wait though for a price drop if it starts at 500. I have a feeling the PSVR will be the go to virtual reality experience to the casual and hardcore crowd as the entry into...
I think it'll be a slow snowball effect. You are right. When it's reached a low enough price? Unlike the console this things scalable to the PC specs. It can start out high and then it'll get to a more casual buyers friendly price.
Or they go up once some people are finally educated on what virtual reality is actually like.
I think some people will change their minds once they play virtual reality. However there is gonna be a cheaper choice on PlayStation. At least that is where I think this is all headed.
Yeah I still want to give the Oculus Rift a try because I've seen some amazing things for it already.
It's the premium version virtual reality so it's in line. If PSVR goes the same path in price then it'll be considered too high a price. I think PSVR will be 200 dollars cheaper though. It's aimed at the broader audience. It's more in line with the averagevirtual reality experience of good quality. Not the premium crowd like Oculus Rift.
If it were for a console market it does. Since it is aimed at the premium quality pc crowd? It's actually in line and less than most gaming PC. Which makese sense because the PC crowd spends more on quality products. They want high end. By all accounts this is considered the high end model.
Well the Oculus Rift is being pushed as the premium version. So obviously it's gonna cost more. Similarly to how PC for gaming costs more. In some cases thousand more than the console counterparts. PSVR can find a sweet spot. If they do this? It's possible PSVR not only dominates console gaming but virtual reality as well.
Its starting to look like that. That is a good price too for quality virtual reality.
Ive seen a bunch of Oculus Rift games. It has the most shown so far. Im sure this is good news for Sony but Oculus Rift looks really fun as well.
You know that's one of my main draws. I know virtual video porn is coming too. So obviously if it plays movies the porn industry will make some for virtual reality.
