The sales spike was due to Christmas and the lowered price. If Sony does not see Xbox return to the top of the charts in America then they wont respond. I think PS4 will stay atop America without a price cut because its no longer Christmas season.
Kinda odd to claim a victory in Microsofts camp. Being outsold by a million is little short of a victory of any sort to me. Oh well. They are happy with North American sales so be it. Those are pretty good numbers despite still placing 2nd place. 2nd place is a very good spot this generation in terms of sales still.
Yeah Gears of War this year would be kinda huge for Xbox. As it is Ps4 has the slight edge. Uncharted, The Order, Until Dawn, and Hellblade seem like a huge lineup to me.

Im pretty sure nobody is laughing at PS4 having all the best indie games anymore either. If they knew those games would turn out to be Resogun, No Mans Sky, Dayz, Limbo, The Witness, many many others they would be demanding that Xbox had all those games at release now.
Dont buy broken games. Wait until its fixed. They listen to the dollar. Make them give you complete games finished.
Very well said. If you are a PS4 future buyer you want it to stay 50 dollars less too. So eventually Ps4 can lower its price at a sooner date to match the low Xbox price. On and on till we have cheap systems available to everyone or bundles.
I think the AC games buzz is kinda worn off lately. I am excited for the other games though. Just Cause an open world game. Uncharted is without saying. Then Witcher 3 could be a very good game. Even a AAA title blockbuster.
I am really really looking forward to a few of these. Until Dawn and Uncharted pop right out at me. Bloodbourne, The Order, and Hellblade are really really close behind those two though. Its a unbelievable lineup for me. I really am wanting that scary game Until Dawn to be great the most of all them though.

I never buy games that rely heavily on DLC. If the game cant stand on its own without it or its not complete I do not buy it. I buy finished games which can add to the experience by buying DLC. Only if its reasonably priced and I can live without the DLC one way or the other.
I just want gamers to be more realistic less focused on unrealistic things like terms like "Cloud, hidden GPU, CPU upclocking". These are all software terms that are readily available to BOTH systems. They are merely describing methods in ways BOTH systems will eventually unlock more power. Provide anytime in history or at least a valid argument where a competitor gained a advantage by unlocking some mysteriously hidden power of a gaming system when the other system was already superior in build? Its not reality. The power of the cloud? The power of the CPU upclocking? The power of the hidden Kinect power unlocked? Software tricks not available to Ps4? Puhhhhlease...
Blah, blah, blah it makes it better. Also Ps4 gets better as they learn the software. Therefor we all know both machines make better looking games as the years go by blah blah stuff we all know because its obvious. They will all get better with time. Ps4 and Xbox. There is no advantage here you are just learning how in this case.
So it was a complete success and all those reviews dont even matter. Especially considering how many people like it and after the updates it completely disregarded the reviews anyways.
The only people who care are the ones who never played the game before. Its always been less than 60 and it plays a specific way that has captured a audience that way. They dont need to change their game to fit a few peoples needs who are just nitpicking and would never buy the game anyways.
Its an increase. If it was 50 dollars less for a month or 2 then it increased its price. They should just keep it 50 dollars less. PS4 is gonna trounce Xbox One anyways by why make it even worse than it is becoming?
Of course. They are still not outselling the PS4 globally. Ps4 will go back to total and complete domination if the price goes back up. Its already still maintaining dominance to a degree. Why let the sales gap increase again?
Its not that big a deal. Only the media is making a few consoles above Sony in North America a deal. It was kinda oddly close for the having had a price cut and so many bundles. I wonder if Xbox will even be able to maintain even any of the momentum now that Christmas is over.
