Dat 900p. LOL! Guess all that extra secret sauce still not showing up unless Microsoft or the developer forces parity.

LOL! Ok you get parity on the 3rd party games for some of the industry guys who get paid off by Microsoft. While Ps4 gets all the best looking exclusives graphically. Its fine. Most of the early 3rd party games were already in the Ps4s corner already anyways. Drive Club, Uncharted, Deep Down, The Order 1886 is enough for this graphics whore.

Technically they said the Ps4 version was still a little better. LOL! I am just saying.

This is a very good title when they do it right. Heck those giant monsters on screen should be much more impressive with the Ps4 hardware.

Nonstory. Grow up. Gamers did. Lets be honest most gamers are in their 30's now. Some in their 40's and 50's. Kids play these less than adults do now.

and if they are affordable I want them both. It could be like owning Xbox vs PS4. As long as we can afford the price of entry to both.

They are two different things. So no. Arguably it blows VR away in some aspects such as apps and maybe some types of games. VR however blows AR away in other ways. Until AR can comletely immerse you or the whole living room in an environment? VR will have that in its back pocket as a upperhand. However when the day does come Holograms can engulf the entire room we are talking about a whole other level VR cant touch.

I think the same thing about VR vs AR. However if Microsoft concentrated on games and not apps then that wouldnt be the case. If Microsoft put all their efforts into this it would take off like the Wii if it had games to support it like the Wii.

I think it is too for what MICROSOFT intends to use and how. However I think there is much more potential here than Kinect if they put actual effort into this. I think they need to stop concentrating on making this thing do all their apps. Nobody cares about how it controls their apps. They want games and entertainment. SHOW THIS THING OFF WITH GAMES MICROSOFT! Many cool AAA games. Thats what will make it a success. Maybe Apps too one day but this is a gaming console they are showing it off f...

Thats great. I certainly want Microsoft to make this work. While I am not sure its in the best hands for this to work entertainment wise. I am sure they can put in the effort money wise to make it work. I just dont want it to be a gimmick like Kinect. This is the kinda tech I care about like VR to actually advance gaming into a whole new realm one day.

This has me thinking Ar will be more of a Kinect like device that plays more mini games or indies. Thats fine and all. I think for it to compete in the games realm of VR it needs to be able to have AAA titles play on the machine. VR will undoubtedly have a few titles on it that are AAA.

It has serious apps potential I think. I think Microsoft is mostly doing this for a test run with apps and software for their major computer push or living room uses more than gaming. Makes sense because of Microsofts history.

Me too. For different reasons. They can both have their own niche in gaming as different options.

4158d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah I would rather be inserted into the world for games some games. especially exploration and shooter type games. Now AR is has huge App implications and many major indie type of game implications. They will both be fun. If AR is somehow able to pull an entire environment into your living room that would be a whole other deal that gets it into the realm of VR as far as gaming.

BWAHAHAHA! Here they go again.

So they was all vanilla like a few days ago. Then all of the sudden boom!!!!!! They go all exploding heads and blown off legs on us. Werewolves, blown off hands, and a huge bone crunching punch to the face. I like their style. All subtle first then show a bunch of stuff.

From possible disappointment to GOTY?

I want them both to battle it out. May the best tech with most immersive experience win. I for my money think VR is more immersive for games. I dont know how holograms will be able to replicate entire game environments. So in that sense I cant see Holograms being a big gaming thing. However AR can kill it in future apps for Microsoft and general uses.

No its real interesting stuff. We all want games to advance. No fanboy wars will be in the middle of a VR vs Hologram future. The best tech that makes the best games will win out. I just want something that will immerse me into that environment we play games in one day. Both have that potential I want the best one to win. I dont care who accomplishes it first.

Now this is the type of stuff I want to see. A real fight for the future of gaming is taking place now. We have Holograms and Vr returning from two big companies. I always wanted this scenario and it has played out finally. They both have something very interesting to offer. I dont know which one I prefer yet. I always wanted both as a videogame related wave of the future is all I know. I want them both to take it seriously. Sony and microsoft dont screw this up. Make both awesome and battle ...
