After Zelda, Kirby and Dragon Quest, I don't know of any upcoming games that matter. But maybe they have more in store, who knows?
Vita for me.
But I might get a 3DS also, now with the price drop and all...never played Ocarina of Time, and that re-release sure is tempting.
I also think it's a scam. Especially when you have to pay for things that are really essential to the game (like a MMORPG where it's free until you hit level X, and then you have to pay to level up). If it's just cosmetic items, I don't think it's really a problem.
But I'd still prefer paying for a game once and playing it however and whenever the hell I want to.
A Nightmare on Elm Street meets Q*Bert is the best definition of this game I've ever heard.
The day single player games are gone is the day I'm gone from gaming. And it's not like I don't have a huge backlog to play for the rest of the century.
It's a group of five dyslexic people playing jazz.
I don't think they know the difference between STELLAR and OBVIOUS.
Maybe if the 3DS starts selling better, they'll drop Vita's price before release (I still think 199 is a possibility).
As long as it's good, I don't care if it's exclusive or not.
PC gaming never died and never will. I was a PC gamer for a long time, but since 2008 I bought all 3 consoles and I am primary a console gamer now. But I still love the heck out of my PC.
What happens everytime is:
1) A new generation of consoles is launched, with amazing graphics, and everybody says PC gaming is dead.
2) The games for the new consoles get better and better, and then people start to be SURE PC is dead.
3) PC technology starts ...
Exactly...you said it better than me. I'm also a big single player, because I like stories and surprises. The repetition of online is a big turn off to me.
They should keep the multiplayer trophies optional, and everyone would be happy.
I agree with most of the list. That said, they are all very good games, but at least for my tastes, they're very far from the perfect 10 most people give them.
I don't think they souldn't have online trophies, because it's one more incentive to play online. What I think is online trophies shouldn't be required to earn the platinum.
I got the platinum on Assassin's Creed 2, got all the offline trophies on Brotherhood, but some of the online trophies are almost impossible to get without boosting...and boosting, at least to me, is completely ridiculous. It defeats the sense of acomplishment of getting a trophy, it j...
Fallout 3 intro was ok, but the first two games in the series had two of the most amazing intros ever. The music, the atmosphere and the dark humor were all amazing and perfect. I still watch them on YouTube from time to time.
Strange...maybe I bought it at sale price and simply don't remember it.
Thanks anyway.
Wasn't Rayman free for PS+ subscribers before? I have it in my PS3 and don't remember having paid for it.
I kind of agree with you, but a big part of the AC series to me are the different periods through history. Walking through Italy during the renaissance is great...climbing buildings in modern New York just seems so...common. At least to me, a modern day AC game would feel very mundane and similar to other games.
Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 for me!
I'd also like to see the first two Katamari games as PSN downloads in HD and including trophy support.
AC is my favorite series this generation, and I really hope they can deliver on Revelations. That said, I'd reallye like an Assassin's Creed III in 2012 tying up the story. But I wouldn't like a game completely centered on Desmond. He works really well as a "foot on reality", in short bursts during gameplay, but I don't think a full game set on modern day doing parkour on today's world would be as compelling as, say, something set on feudal Japan or some other an...
It looks good and all, but nowadays it's easy to make furniture and walls. I'd like to see a human being or an existing animal (not a monster) rendered in the scene, because that's what's really difficult to make.
