I love all the games in the series (it's my favorite franchise this generation), but I agree the first game was a lot worse than the others.
But, to me, the best one is Brotherhood. It just has so much more to do, with the assassins you hire, and the great, very original, multiplayer (and I usually hate multiplayer). Revelations was good, but not as much as Brotherhood. I hated the Desmond/Portal sections and bomb crafting is just boring.
Steam sales cannibalize my money. Every single time.
And I don't even play that much on my PC nowadays. But who can resist those shiny, low prices?
I stopped around the 45th mission (out of 90) because I couldn't stand driving across the entire city every single time I messed up.
It NEEDS mid-mission checkpoints.
...because what the world needs right now is another Uncharted clone.
Seriously, now, I used to love Pitfall on my Atari 2600 (and love Uncharted too), and hope it will be good, but the odds say "Clone!".
I agree completely. I couldn't bring myself to finish Dead Rising because of the time limit and the save system. If it was a true sandbox zombie game it would be awesome, and I still hope someday I'll see a game like that (Dead Island doesn't count, because I'm not a big fan of first-person perspective).
And I don't care if it makes me better at games...for me gaming is not a boot camp. I just wanna have fun.
Meanwhile, in the US, we get 3 small PSN games.
This.
It should contain the following phrase:
"Includes the first game in glorious HD!"
Indeed. I'm a big fan of GOG.
My favorite series this generation.
This guy just can't seem to shut up. Like, ever.
You are right about the power of current GPUs. Problem is, if they put a GTX 680 inside PS4/Xbox720, the new consoles will be very expensive, and we all know that's not good for sales. And if they release new consoles now, you can bet they won't use current high-end PC specs. They'll be much closer to 7670 than to 680 (and that wouldn't be a sufficiently dramatic improvement over current console hardware).
So I kinda agree with IGN, because I wanna be amazed b...
Yeah, I knew that, but I still think it's not a good option. The PS3 has it so much better with game/save data being two different things.
I wanna be able to delete a Vita game while keeping the save data. It's possible on the PS3, PSP and minis, and there's no possible explanation for the fact that it's not allowed on Vita. When I delete a game to make space on the memory card, I just lose all my save data.
That is just ridiculous.
Oops. Double post.
The "meh of Watch Dogs? Seriously? I thought it was the best thing on E3 (even against The Last of Us and Beyond, and they both looked really incredible).
Although the translation sucks, I understood it a little different: to me, it doesn't sound like a port at all, but kind of a spin-off, like the Assassin's Creed game. And, at least to me, this is very appealing.
They should have kept the sale going on until now. I didn't buy it because it didn't work on Vita. Oh, well...
...and Kingdom Hearts.
