We are also getting closer to flying cars and the apocalypse.
The guy's an idiot. He's the most unbearable person in the game industry right now. I hate people who use sunglasses indoors thinking they look cool (except for The Blues Brothers, of course).
I don't think Kinect is a total waste, it's good for children. But, as the first comment said very well, if every game was a Kinect game, I wouldn't be a gamer.
Assassin's Creed.
Even if you got bored with the first one, you owe it to yourself to at least try AC2.
Not yet...I'd rather wait a few more years. There are just so many incredible games coming (and so many that I haven't played yet). I still think this generation has a lot of juice in it.
Besides, I still don't think the current technology can provide a jump in quality that justifies a new generation. PCs look better? Of course, but not by that much...if the next-gen comes in a few years (instead of now), we'll get more impressive machines that will last longe...
Yeah...they both transformed into robots and did some Real Steel in my living room. It was awesome! But I'll never tell you who won.
Very cool! The pieces of paper representing the shots are awesome!
Yay! That's one less item on my announcement wishlist.
Huh....you mean like Crysis 2?
If they had released it without previous teasing, everybody would think it was awesome (which it kind of was). But everybody was expecting a BIG announcement, and all we got was a cool commercial.
At first I thought it was just a movie trying to be funny. But then I saw the ad for "BING" just beside it. It means Microsoft actually paid something to have it there, so it's not impossible that "XBox 720" could be a real thing (awful name, though).
This is my favorite franchise this generation. But even I have to admit that yearly games are not a good thing. Having said this, I still want Revelations and AC3 after it. Then, after AC3, Ubisoft should probably wait until the next generation to start a new age of AC games.
I think I see what Sony is trying to do with this. They're releasing the niche titles, those that will never see an HD remake. And, at least to me, it makes perfect sense.
The last thing I wanna see is a release of a vanilla PS2 game on PSN only to see it released a few months later in glorious HD, with trophy support. If they keep this trend of remastering the biggest titles and releasing the smaller ones on PSN in their original form, I think it's the best of both ...
I agree with almost everything in this article. I can't stand overlong, exposition-ridden cut scenes, especially in japanese games. Or, even worse, in kids games: my daughter can't stand Animal Crossing because those damn animals never stop talking! It takes ages to start playing.
That said, I love great cut-scenes, like the ones Blizzard does (and many other western developers too, not only on PC, of course). This is one of the areas where I think the West is winnin...
hehehe.....I did something similar to him. I just hid behind that giant ribcage on the floor and kept hitting. It died a lonely and horrible death because he couldn't jump over the ribcage.
- Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2
- Jak & Dexter Series
- Ratchet & Clank Series
- GTA Collection (3 - Vice City - San Andreas)
- Okami
- Devil May Cry Collection (1-2-3)
- God Hand
- Killzone 1
- Black
- Katamari Damacy / We Love Katamari
Those would make me a very happy gamer.
Lucky bast@rd!
So the people at Fox News must all be gamers, then...they clearly can't tell reality from fantasy.
That's predictable, because Gears is the biggest 360 exclusive, and Resistance is far from being it on the PS3. It's the same as comparing, let's say, Crackdown 2 to Uncharted 2, except R3 did so much better than Crackdown 2 would.
That said, I'll buy both and enjoy them for a long time.
Well, Uncharted and AC are my favorite franchises this generation. I don't see why people want them to be similar. The only similarities are: third person, and climbing things. The rest is completely different.
And I love all games on both series, and have pre-ordered both UC3 and AC:R. Can't wait to play'em!
