God, the Internet ruins EVERYTHING. These articles are going to strangle Kickstarter games, fucking knock it OFF. Take your risks or don't, quit crying. Most games turn out fine and I've been satisfied. Some of the great games in their respective genres ave come from Kickstarter, like Shovel Knight.

Yeah, AAA games are a bore now. I had to skip out on installments in my favorite series because they're just crap. Look at MGSV, just another 3rd person shooter in an open world now. No thanks, I can find that done better elsewhere, there's no emphasis on stealth and MGS lost its way. Then there's Final Fantasy XV, just another hack & slash ARPG; those are a dime a dozen, I play Final Fantasy for turn-based gameplay. Now Resident Evil 7 is a damn FPS...we all know how THAT wor...

I agree, if they're just going to keep everything in menus and static images then they should put it on the Vita instead of the PS4, or at least both. I think a PS4 game should have a real budget, and if not, well, maybe it just shouldn't be a PS4 game.
I wouldn't even care about most of those for one reason or another. Persona 5 and Trails of Cold Steel 2 stand out from the rest pretty well.
I agree, most RPG series are dead or disfigured beyond recognition. Hopefully we can get DBZ: Project Fusion to come west, but it isn't looking likely at this point...

Wii U is not revolutionary. At best it is only good for playing while in bed comfortably, but the controller is too clunky and heavy to even get that right, plus the screen quality is poor. If that is a revolution then we're in trouble.
