The series is such shit now, has been after TTYD like a decade so so ago. Nintendo knows how to kill a series.
The story won't even be great, there are no interesting and unique characters to join your team and drive the story. Just some one-off cut-out toads sprinkled about, saying something vaguely witty and disappearing.
It seems marginally better than Sticker Star, which is really not saying much at all. So basically a 1.5/10.

I remember playing this on NES when I was really, really little. As a toddler I really enjoyed it as far as I can recall, I have fond memories of it. I believe we rented it from somewhere. Good times...

People not getting their game yet isn't a mark against the game itself, nor is its technical problems (Skyrim got perfect scores and I found it frankly unplayable on PS3 when it first launched, with bugs, single digit fps, crashes, retarded load times everywhere, etc). As a GAME, in and of itself on its own merits, divorced of all the other issues such as delays and whatever, it is a mediocre game, not a bad one; a distinction few people are able to make these days, apparently.

I didn't click this s***, I made a comment based on the title and blurb. Seems like someone, probably a male, came to a female's defense. If not, disregard my assumptive comment and move on with your dull life, but if so then that is the definition of white knighting.
