Well, Minish Cap is my favorite 2D Zelda game and it was done by Capcom, not Nintendo, so I feel like it doesn't matter what company makes Zelda, as long as they're a Japanese one since it is an integral part of the feeling of the series.

Correction, it was surprisingly bad for everyone. No big surprises, no great games, everything shown could end up a disaster.
Square disappointed me the most, they announced nothing interesting. Sony failed the Vita by not mentioning it once, and only showing a few games for it (good ones but still).

It was an underwhelming E3 across the board, really. Of this list, Observer seems interesting at least...Inside might be good, I liked Limbo. I agree, Wind Waker's ocean was a blast for me. I agree that Nintendo isn't putting everything into this, but GTA is not a good comparison. It's filled with content but a lot of it is pointless, meaningless, and uninteresting.
