I'm a bit worried about it's PPI as it'll most likely have the same resolution as the standard model, but on a much larger screen. Hopefully the image wont look like shite. Also, the whole thing seems a bit too big for comfort, standard model size with bigger screen would be better.
Seriously? I've played that staircase game and it's only scary for about a minute or two. It's repetetive like nothing else and one of the most disappointing games I've played this year, if not the most. The sound and graphics are good, but it reuses assets over and over again, which was gamebreaking to me. I didn't even finish it, because the lenght is randomly generated, and after more than a hundred floors and many minutes of pressing the up arrow to walk, I no longer c...
If it's of any comfort; the Vitas screen is in qHD. That's quarter High Definition. The game is certainly in higher definition than the original. These complaints are daft..
With EA at the steering wheel, a Vita NFS is best done as a direct post of a console game IMO. It's going to be either that or some poor outsourced title.
Of course I'd love it if Black Box or Criterion made one, but that seems less likely as they'll be focusing on home consoles. Imagine an exclusive Burnout game (Not Crash-style, but with a crash mode please) made by Criterion for the Vita, that'd be fantastic!
What do you mean "you don't want a simple port?" That's exactly what you should want (not trying to force opinions on you, but I think you misunderstand what a port is), because then the game will be the same as on other platforms.
I'm pretty sure all of the old handheld NFS games were outsourced games unjustifiably carrying the same name as their console counterparts. And they weren't as good.
People seem to have it in their heads that the Vita won't get exclusive titles because of PS3 ports. This is far from the truth, porting a game PS3 -> PSV can supposedly be done in a matter of weeks so it doesn't take up developers time, it's simply a bonus.
I'm planning to get Sly on the Vita, as I'd love a platformer on it and there's already far too many games I'm going to buy for the PS3, so I'm spreading the games across both platforms....
Better with Kinect! :-P
Damn it! This was one of my most anticipated titles of the year..... Well, it gives me more time to work on my backlog at least.
I wish my local church let me play Playstation during service. "...and Kratos smites the false gods!" :-D
You read me like an open book, Ck1x.
And, I'm sorry, but you keep coming off very passive aggressive. Calm down, will you? What else can we do but speculate? Should we just hold our breath and expect miracles only to be disappointed in the end?
I'm not trying to sound like I'm some all-knowing beast, like it apparently seems like I'm coming off by your replies. That's why I'm using words like "probably", "we don't know yet&qu...
Well I'm glad you find me funny. I'm basing my predictions on the Wii U on what's been said about the hardware by developers and Nintendo themselves (they've released specifications subject to change, you can find them on Wikipedia). I'm hoping Nintendo will surprise with an amazing set of hardware. But look at it, the Wii U is tiny, heat is a very common problem with consoles and what they can cram into that little box is limited. That's likly one of the reasons there...
Yeah, people need to remember that this is a major japanese game by a japanese company. They'll want to support the Tokyo Game Show.
I'm not surprised at them skipping E3, the same might well happen for The Last Guardian.
Who said new hardware is always more exciting than new games?
If I had to pick a "winner", It would be Sony. Yes, Nintendo is showing Wii U (still a horrible name), but I personally doesn't find the console very appealing.
It's probably not going to be much more powerful than the PS3 and 360 due to the expensive controller as Ninty needs to keep the price down. And since the competition's got a six year head-start, games won't look much bett...
Why would anybody not wnat more games for the Vita, and no new IP's? This can only be good, the PSV and 3DS need to prove that handheld gaming isn't dead by a long shot.
N4G is riddled with stupid immature kids. These must have run out of bubbles since they dare not explain their actions in a comment.
Awesome! I was only expecting a couple new move titles, it really needs some more software support.
It's a bit weird that it's the old voice actor for Cole that's listed, but I preferred him anyway so I don't mind.
Great list though, great list. This is slowly becoming my most anticipated title (fight!) this year as it sounds like a lot of fun.
So the iPad can replace consoles by becoming one? One that might need replacing every year? What's the point of that?
It's red = rød

I know A, E, K. but what are the rest?
As much as I love Uncharted, I hope they never make a movie out of it. It would then be a movie based on a game that's kinda based on movies (There's no denying how much Uncharted has in common with Indiana Jones). I just don't think it should be done. However, I wouldn't mind a movie that's like Uncharted.
Wipeout HD runs in a dynamic resolution, it drops pixels on the fly if it can't keep up.
