Halo 2 looked good on the old Xbox. I still remembering being in awe over the shiny textures.
But if the memory is split, then I don't think Nintendo is going to bother.
Better, it means the GPU can do CPU stuff.
The thing is, if you're sitting about 10ft from the telly, it would have to be at least 77 inches big for the human eye to see any difference from 1080p. 4K is stupid for home entertainment, with its only redeeming feature being that it slightly improves polarized stereoscopic 3D as it sends even vertical lines of pixels to one eye and odd lines to the other (more lines improve the effect, as each eye only get half the vertical pixels and with 1080p this is noticeable, even if only just)....
Do we really want the Vita to turn into another PSP? No, hackers can get the eff out.
It's also important to remember that there are rights that need to be clarified with the publishers.
I think the 360 controller has a great shape, but it's let down by the external battery, crappy d-pad and slightly lesser build-quality. The DS3 has motion control, internal battery, a better d-pad and more comfortable buttons. But the DS3 has a slightly awkward shape and shallow triggers. Don't get me wrong, they're both great, but neither is perfect and the DS3 edges the 360 in my opinion.

Was Origins not in 1080p @ 60FPS on 360 and PS3? It would be weird if this wasn't full HD on Wii U.
Here's my problem with CryEngine and its devs, every week there's some new screenshot or teaser from a project. But where are the games?
A price drop would almost certainly come in the form of a hardware revision of lesser quality. The device itself is reasonably priced, cheap even in my mind. But the memory cards are too expensive, an every PSV should come to bundled with minimum 4GB.
I'm thinking more along the lines of Studio Ghibli. Come to think about it, a lot of Japan Studio games remind me of Ghibli.
If you look at the picture of the alternative outfits, he's holding a pair of blades. But they look different from Kratos's. If they changed the weapons, then they will have to change the animations and moveset and re balance stuff, so then it would end up as a different character, not just outfit.
A dessert-land would be awesome, with chocolate rivers and ice-cream mountains!
Sorry, couldn't resist.... :-P
Compete? No. Compliment? Yes.
Homebrew. That's what.
If it's such a useless piece of crap, how come its earned over 3 million USD in about day?
This isn't about playing mobile games on your TV, it's about creating an open console and making it easier for developers to get their games out. It is a homebrew console.
I pledged for one as it's an interesting project, and even if it fails as a games console it'll still be a great media player connected to the TV. Emulators for old consoles will likely flourish.
It won't replace my PS3, and I'll still get a PS4, but it'll b...
How about actually reading the article before posting a comment? They aren't attacking minis, but concerned about them and want to help the format grow.
Just a thought; what if Segas "cancellation" was simply them cancelling the publishing and not the game itself. Meaning Nintendo bought the publishing rights from Sega, mid-development. I don't believe what I've just written to be true, but do we know for a fact that it's not?
