If by game changer you mean "suffering from third-console-curse and an abomination", then yes.
Mildly off topic here; but I see you left out price, wattage, size and the fact that at the end of the day, they all play the same games.
I haven't disagreed btw.
Well, maybe not in power. But if you think about it, at least the PS4 is in a way in terms of architecture.
(bring on the disagrees, sigh)
... When compared to its rivals, the TiVo and Smart TV.
Oh Shu!
@Grab: 720p isn't sub HD, anything below native 720p is. Sub means below, and 720p is the first standard of HD.
So CoD was sub-HD.
It looks pretty darn good. The Yahoo map is weird, but I won't judge until I know some more. I wonder if Sony plans to release bigger game cards for the Vita, a move up to 8GB would do wonders for the system.
Next gen CoD will be the first I buy since MW2 if it looks like an evolution.
Well, I can play Watch_Dogs and Far Cry 3 on the same PS3...
I get your point, and agree, but a bit of a fail there seeing how W_D is cross-gen.
The guy who plays the kingslayer in Game of thrones look very much like Big Boss with a beard. It's uncanny at times.
The fact that kids today play CoD saddens me. It just shows how little age restrictions matter to people, and parents in particular. Oh, and Mario beats the living daylights out of Call of Duty any day of the week.
Seriously people, this isn't how it works. You own only the copy of the game, with the rights to play it for personal use. You hold zero copyright ownership over anything on that disc. And public viewing without authorization is a seriously strong no-no in the media business.
Nintendo are monetizing what's already free advertising, oddly and sadly enough. But I can see both sides.
The PS4 should be able to run most everything, the only question is "how well?". 1080p @ 30 FPS or 720p @ 60 should be doable. Most likely with a custom graphic setup either way, as in every setting tailored to the hardwares strengths and weaknesses.
Does damaging the Hulk give green orbs?
Please be true, last year it only got four sentences of coverage. Let's see some greatness please!
Isn't that the same as variable Level Of Detail?
*cough* N64! *couch*
No surprise there, Rockstar is one of those companies that don't give a crap and follow their own path. Although I'd rather have an E3 showing over a trickle of bullshots.
Well, that depends on whether or not Ubi decides to fill it with UPlay DRM or not. And if you have the PC for it...
30 FPS is fine if it's V-synced, stable and uses triple buffering at 1080p.
