Wasn't it the other way around, with X0 being more PC oriented (the home of programming etc) while PS3 was close to an entirely new animal and thus people really don't have the know-how yet..?

Yes... It only happens to encompass several differing gaming styles in a one game, which is quite a feat to achieve in strategy games. Civ4: BtS and it's roleplay and WC3 come quickly only to my mind... And they both are most excellent by themselves. Something which you do not see everyday, do you?
They are allowing Wii to download Wii games, in the form of Wiiware later on..? So, that part is going to come at least.
Just as much as a certain region in Europe where Wii still sells for 269€. Isn't that a tad too much by now?

MP3 has been widely appreciated for its control scheme, something you've failed to see apparently. GG etc. As for franchises... isn't that THIRTEENTH Final Fantasy PS3 fans are waiting for? Oh my. Or 4th MGS. I've yet to see them add to games as much as Mario64, SMG or even SMB3 have added.
Ever played it online? That game had the teamplay better up than any other game thus far... provided you weren't playing with utter idiots.
The game's a lost cause in my eyes already, since it won't have C&C Mode in multiplayer... that would've rocked more than anything else. Cannot comprehend why they'd leave that one out...
Strangely enough, there was more Wii software sold than Sony software combined within last month... I strongly doubt all of those sales were only first party games.

I know seven people who do have a Wii, and every of them has a gamer background of some sort. All of them are also adults, one of them being close to his thirties. They play Wii almost daily. What is your point? That Wii lacks "Adult" games? Are FPS'es and racing games adult games? Geez. You cannot categorize things to be only for adults that surely every adult play, and games that are for kiddies which adults never will play. It just won't work like that.

I'm not seeing there that many Wii games either, which indeed is just as pity as the lack of PS3 games, but it still ain't a reason to cry about.
It is actually quite creepy how much attention that game is getting even in popular culture... perhaps because it has BECOME popular culture itself? I couldn't have seen that one coming when I first played WoW.
