How many PS1 and PS2 games had glitches? Tons upon tons of them. They just had no way to fix them back in that era.
If you honestly see patches as a bad thing, then I think you're crazy. The dev is making the game better, when in truth, they don't have to...they already made the sale...they patch because they care about the consumer.

I really think MW3 is getting ragged on way too much though. While it does use the same engine, it's adding more to the series than any COD title has since the original MW.
I mean there's TONS of new co-op stuff...the single player looks to be more than 3 hours, and I'll agree that the multiplayer isn't a revolution, but if it was..it would upset all the people that love COD so much.

I own a PS3, and not a 360..but don't act like it's some machine sent from the gods that is capable of anything..because it's not.
Why would you not want a console that can do more? It's not like it will play games any worse if it also plays music, movies, browses the internet, etc. etc. etc.

While resolution is important...it's far from the most important thing.
Go ahead and run morrowind at 1200p and tell me it looks better than skyrim on consoles...It doesn't...It might be more crisp...but it sure as hell doesn't look more impressive.

You obviously have the mindset that console games simply can't look good because you play on the high and mighty PC. Now, I game primarily on PC, but the consoles aren't the turds that a lot of PC fanboys try to make them out as.

Most of the footage isn't even about graphics...and the graphics stuff they did show has already been created on existing and upcoming hardware...
Ok...but the point is that you had to look at them for a MINUTE to notice the difference! That effectively means that there isn't a difference.
The 360 textures are EEVVVERRR so slightly sharper..but when the game is running, you're never going to notice that.
These graphics wars are getting so petty it's insane...
Which is the same engine as MW1.
Pretty much the only difference is color balance/brightness...Easily remedied in your tv options..
The reason i think resistance 3 got bashed was because the patch was half a freaking GIG!
