I guess it's a new release for the PS4. But to me its very lack luster for a 20th celebration.
FunAndGun have a point.
Is it just me or this "20 year celebration" seems a little lack luster? I was hyped for this game when i completed the first tomb raider game twice. But after the announcement that tomb raider 2 will be an xbox exclusive for a year, i told myself, "oh i can wait". However, it seems that at this point the hype have gone.
I feel that most PS4 owner feels the same way. For me, the hype is over and im pretty sure for others as well. But i do know a lot of people do fe...
"It comes with special packaging..."
Remove disc from special packaging, insert disk into console, never look at packaging again until you finish the game and game and special packaging goes on a shelf never to be seen again.
How would you know, you dont even own a PS4 and i highly doubt you even played Uncharted 4. Troll go back under your bridge...winter is coming.
I will greet her when the game goes on sale.
6 hours is not bad. I think games like Gears and FPS in general are more focus on the multiplayer aspect. This is where the replay value comes in. The last Gear i played was Gears of war 2 and i remember the mechanics and multiplayer was pretty solid.
Playing video game hours on end will kill you. It have been proven and there have been cases that this have occured. However, i would not call it an "Epidemic". To me, VR make some people sick because they are prone to motion sickness. I bet some of these people probably have trouble or get sick playing first person shooters or even being on a boat.
Its called motion sickness. Some people have it some people dont. You dont call something like that an epidemic. Some people get sick when reading in a moving vehicle, some dont. Some people get sick on a boat ride, some dont. Would you call that an epidemic. Your bias towards Sony shows me that your just insecured.
Unfullfilled promises? Find a quote where the developer actually said NMS was a multiplayer game? They asked him, "is there a chance we will encounter other players?" he said, "yes".
were you expecting an upgrade to the current system or were you expecting the "next gen" that is also called a PS4?
The scorpio is technically a Next Gen.
What power matters now??
PS4 Pro is an upgrade to the current PS4. Xbox Scorpio is not an upgrade to the xbox one. Its a damn next gen console.
If you're going to criticize bad moves, then look at the company youre defending. Every rant that you made about Sony, Microsoft have done or currently is doing. When you criticize a company for that action and the company that you're defending is doing the same, you come off as bias hypocrite.
I agree with Golby, you need to work on your presentation. But if its ranting that your aiming for, I think you met your goal.
Look at it as a business stand point. PS+ subscription and adoption are at its highest. Why not take that opportunity to hike the price up just by a little? Netflix did it, 24 hour fitness did it, Microsoft did it, and i can go on and on. Sony and Microsoft is a business after all. We know that inflation is the cause for price hikes for everything which believe it or not includes gaming. Sony as a company is recovering from a near bankruptcy just a few years ago, which means layoffs and close...
The Neo is not even officially announced yet and you're here ranting about something you know very little about. Scorpio was announced but very little details is known about the Scorpio. You're ranting because you're pissed that Sony is winning this imaginary console war. Give it a rest until Sony officially announce the Neo. Until then, no one want to hear about your bias rant.
It makes sense that it is up to developers. But i rather them focus on making the game good. I've notice a lot of games this year seems a little lack luster with some exceptions.
It's not about the short term gain they're after. It's the long term gain they want. Even if they raise the base price of a single game, they will have microtransaction because they know people will pay for it. It's extra cash in their pockets.
Lots of these developers are already thinking about dlcs, microtransactions, and packs long before the actual game is complete. Take Destiny for an example, they cut that game into pieces and sold to pieces to gamers as dlc.
