Ninty already stated that they are not competing agains xbox or ps4. Even ninty fans said it themselves.
But of course we all know that they're back in the competition if the switch outsell the other two consoles.
No, gaming is not a race between two consoles. But it is about making games for your console and for the fans. Which Xbox failed to do.
Ants is nothing spectacular in a video game. however, when you add up all the details that this game have offered it becomes mind blowing that they were able to add something that to you may seems irrelevant but in a grand schemes of things, it makes this game more immersive. Games are suppose to put the players into the role of the characters and by adding something like this make you feel like you are part of the games enviroment.

Dont mind that they try to innovate but i think that should not be the priority. Look at Sony for an example, their main goal was to get a GAMING console out to the gamers. All the innovations such as 3D, VR, Move, are additional stuff added on. This is what Nintendo need to do. Set up a gaming console first as the base. Once you establish that, start the innovation process.

They cant, If they dont meet the deadline, there's consequences and penalties. If Destiny 2 is not released by 2017, Activision get some of their stocks (according to reports).

Your justification dont hold any merit at all. Why? Nintendo fans been comparing the Wii to the PS3 and Xbox 360 back when it was the number one selling console. The Wii was the weakest of all the three back then but its justifiable to compare them then?
SO why is it ok to compare wii to the PS3 and Xbox 360 but we cant compare Switch to the PS4 and Xbox One?

Look at the Wii. It out sold the PS3 and Xbox 360 and was always compared to these two consoles even though it was the weakest of the three. But you're saying that we cant compare the switch to the PS4 or xbox One? WHy?
Fair enough. But youre doing yourself a disservice by playing on one console (of course if you cant afford both its a different story). I got the xbox one for gear of war series, but since then, nothing much on their system.
