It would probably be more powerful than both probably tbh. GPU side less so to PS4 most likely.
I just don't believe/trust them too much because unlike Sony/MS/nintendo they are not going to be aggressively undercutting to sell the hardware but am guessing with steam machines it will be a great way for alienware to expand their range with a budget offerings especially if SteamOS/linux takes off and becomes quite support by the big third-party devs.

Sounds like this will be using mobile parts from the looks of things giving the size so it will possibly be something like a maxwell gpu & intel broadwell or haswell.

"Driveclub and Deep down are free" - No Driveclub was always a retail game. It was meant to be the big IGC game for PS4 at launch but that changed with the delay however there will still be a PS+ version with some content missing but you can still platinum the game.
