OT - What's so hard to believe here? PS4 beat XB1 in november, XB1 beat PS4 in december but sold enough in november + december to be the leader in sales in US. Not hard to understand/believe.
I agree tbh I don't know how it will be considering many of the key people who made gears what it is have left Epic and there isn't any reason to drag out the story any further IMO.
Personally I would like a new IP but with a gears *feel* i.e the cover system, teamwork, brutal in your face action (shotgun battles). Something with at least one of these elements & third person would be nice :)

"it's not exclusive" - It doesn't need to be when Mass marketing is involved. If MS/EA market it as an XB1 title like we see with other games with a marketing partnership (COD,GTA V etc) then it will end up selling systems for them IMO.
Yep. I can see why MS locked it down. This will be a big system seller knowing that MS will market it well. Personally doesn't do it for me but I get the hype now.

Am pretty sure the game is quite ready already.... They said this is just meant to be a server test and nothing more it only runs until sunday apparently so it fits perfectly with what they are saying. They could easily be using old code for this seeing as its just a server test for the weekend. No one really knows. Anyways we will know soon enough when the game comes out but that won't matter too much because it's the gameplay that is getting people excited for good reason.
Based on impressions I have read from the gaf thread titanfall is looking to be a big system seller for MS especially knowing they will market it to hell. Some people are saying it's COD4/MW2 type fun which is good.

Why does this exist???? Seriously the gameplay mechanics are damn awful I thought this was a mobile game for a second.
tbh if I had the hardware to max it out I would rather play the PC version. I don't like the new face to me it's more of a *downgrade* than up and the other improvements don't seem like a big deal to warranty the asking price currently.
But yh I second that tressfx is nice but not at the cost of half the framerate if they could get it to run well at 60fps.
