I will leave this here --> http://www.neogaf.com/forum...
But props to them if they actually do it until then I find it hard believing them after the whole DRM thing was not fully explained considering how big of a change it was going to be and before people say but they don't have time to explain it. Am pretty sure them cancelling their round table talks after E3 or ...
Always a shame people have too be let go because of this hopefully they bounce back quickly.
If thuway is to believed then that doesn't sound as bad as SSM's project which was well in development (Well a very shaky one) and was supposedly going to be official announced at E3.
On a positive note good to see DemonNite is safe wish he or she would leak more and stop being such a tease :p.
Medium because am small :P
Loving these free stuff :)
Nice another giveaway maybe I can win again :p
The points about lack of game modes, low amount of customization/Weapons, private lobbies are valid and should have reflected more in the score given to TF by some outlets. But I don't agree the numbers being *inflated*.
I don't even know it don't have a Ranking System and Leaderboards. It's rather odd to be missing in such a competitive game like this. No really why would they leave this out?
"why MSFT spent 3 billion on AMD for a custom XB1 GPU" - The deal is *valued* at that price and they don't just customize the gpu they also made modifications to the cpu which is why their's a complete custom design vs Sony's which is just the gpu that was customized = *semi-custom*. They did more customization than Sony in total also Esram makes their chip more expensive.
Also I really don't know how many times this has to be said. Both PS4 and XB1 ...
The DX12 thing is funny because MS themselves (Phil Spencer)--> https://twitter.com/XboxP3/... and this MS blog here -> http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dir...
have already said some features of dX12 are on XB1 already. Those probably being the Multi-thread scaling, 50% better CPU utilization because...
Wait so because one studio had some layoff due to a project that wasn't going well suddenly means they're shrinking. Loooool yh..... All these jobs totally look like shrinking.

The problem is MS has yet to show or demo this to the public so their claims feel more like side-tracking the power differences at hand rather than it being plausible. Things like the brigade engine shows it is possible but how those something like that work when someone has a patchy connection or loses connection?
Also this is not exclusive to just MS. MS just has the luxury of having a huge cloud network to readily tap into.
This is why I love angry joe's reviews. Never fails to call BS out.
Well good to see their efforts made a impact.
1. Official price cut
2. TF bundle
3 Unofficial price cuts by some rettailers
4.I guess you could add heavy advertising of TF also.
Added value does help after all.
Mort will like a word with you. IGN also with their recent Sony leaks, kotaku with their AC leaks.
There is a big difference between the two.
One Misterx's insider has a big zero percentage track record of all his info being wrong.
Others have some record of being right.
Insiders words shouldn't be taken as gospel but they should be taken into consideration when they have proven themselves.
I still don't understand why they would chose to show the benefits of a DX12 and it's console-api elements on PC but using the single *most powerful* GPU on PC atm.
That doesn't make sense to me because the Titan is like 6x+ more powerful than the XB1 so they would have already had an easier time porting due to being less constrained power wise. Wouldn't using a mid-tier GPU make sense for this demo.
Or am I missing something here?
...
Loooool he hasn't given up just yet sadly but hopefully people will stop believing or taking his BS into any consideration now.
"Forza Motorsport 5 is an example of a game that pushes the Xbox One to the limit with its fast-paced photorealistic racing experience. Under the hood, Forza achieves this by using the efficient low-level APIs already available on Xbox One today. Traditionally this level of efficiency was only available on console – now, Direct3D 12, even in an alpha state, brings this efficiency to PC and Phone as well. By porting their Xbox One Direct3D 11.X core rendering engine to use Direct3D 12 ...
Ok so let's see here what happened here -
XB1 is created with DX12 in mind - Check true because this looks like MS bringing the features from XB1's api to PC and mobile.
MS hiding details about XB1 GPU - Nope this is a driver update no new hardware required.
Stacked dGPU, Titled resources - Nope.
Answer to mantle - Looks it has it's coming out Holiday 2015 that is Q4 2015 quite a lot wait. So looks like AMD pushed them to announces this so...
Am happy dGPU and all the other BS from Misterx can finally stop now.
This is great for PC as everyone gets access to it unlike mantle.
So Vgleaks was right.... Nice. I hope we get a detailed analysis about the tech from DF or from SP.
Well said. Leaks happen most of time whether a multi-national company likes it or not. And like you said only outlets should be held responsible for their actions has they signed NDA's
And the update coming soon would tell you that they probably wouldn't go that far as the author is suggesting here seeing as they are removing HDCP for games and adding export to usb functionality for footage.
Like you said the only way to stop it is go after retailers...
There must likely will be depending on what kind of penalties there is but if the extend to it is only those two above then it won't be that much I think. Still the idea of locking console functions based on reputation I don't agree with considering the people would have pay XBL to get that functionality.
The reduced match marking pairing is refining to it putting you against similar reputations players right?
