I don't think so. Looking at the teardowns from fixit and it wouldn't be a wise thing to do as it's not as easy as the PS4's and can very easily lead to hardware damage if done wrongly. They are better served on getting out the update for external HDDs as fast as fast as possible.

Sounds like a done deal especially if this is all cash Welp rip twitch. It makes sense google are doing this seeing as twitch keeps on raising and growing in popularity but it sucks these companies can just keep on throwing money at their competition without trying to compete . Hmmm sounds like it's going to be a good show for them like last year. Phil may want to calm the hype a bit because he's setting expectations really high but they generally do seem to have some major announcement in the pipe line.

No one said that. What people said is that it isn't going to lead toward a 50% overall boost in performance like that neowin article was suggesting not even MS themselves said that. They said it could lead to up 50% in cpu performance not supposed giving performance boost that was equal to getting a GPU that is 2X as fast.
Also XB1's API already has some DX12 features so how much the other things will help once added is unknown and like ever...
This game... This game. The environment are so beautiful once they put better AA to fix the power lines this game is pretty much prefect.
Lighting, environment, reflections, shadows, car models are top notch.
Chances are zero expect it has a different development path because it sounds like they are going all out (60fps, dedicated servers) -

Those Xbox software engineers sure know how it's done. The OS setup also helps because it's completely separate to the game one so it's easier for them to work with.
