The policies are the same from what i have read. The issues that happened are largely because people don't set their console to primary beforehand. Both have a grace period in which access is taken away if it's not being played from the set primary console.

That's true given the only difference between the two in their games is resolution and sightly tighter framerate on PS4. Although I wonder if things will be so close later on in the life cycle. Still it means that parity between the two will never be there when devs have the time and really optimise both systems.

And people's information were not completely compromised as the data was encrypted. People can be wary if they want to but all a ddos attack does is overflowing servers it's not a hack or attack to comprise security in anyway.
