It sounds like it will still be multiplat. I mean all sources on this have said so far at least Minecraft will continue the way it is. Minecraft 2 is up in the air if there is one but it would be stupid if they locked it down to Xbox/PC/WP only.
As some people have said on gaf it's probably also because of licensing see rovio and angry birds if not they won't be making back their investment anytime soon.

Curious why XB1 has the frame pacing issues from the beta. Probably not enough time to finish things? Wonder if it will be fixed in a patch.
Argument about 4K is silly.
1. 4K prices can continue to drop if they want, they are still not unaffordable for mainstream and majority that would be buying the consoles.
2. Both consoles support 4K media which is more than enough. 4K gaming is extremely taxing even to the most powerful GPU's.
3. 4K content is still very low and will continue to be low for a number of years.

Personally it's fine as long as it says something like "first to console", "console debut", "First on Xbox" etc which shows it's timed.
OT - Gameinformer missed quite a bit of games that are timed exclusives.
E.g. Smite, The Escapists, Superhot are all "Console debut" titles or Space Engineers which is exclusive for a year.
